this was immensely helpful. My art teacher knows how much I love art, so she gave a "unique" opportunity to go help people fold cranes at a ladie's gallery in town for volunteer hours. So naturally i realized i've never made one AFTER I said I'd be there haha. anyway thank you this helps so much!

6- means that you need to have two flaps on both sides of the diamond, you can kind of see it when looking at step 7

Have you completed up to step five? Can you tell me if you were able to make the diamond shape? Because if you have the diamond shape then there will be four flap like sides. The diamond needs to be flattened so that there are two flaps on each side. Like in step 6.

I think I know what happened, you see the animation for step 5 applies to both sides. So you need to this [link] and then this [link] you see the four sides right?
