(and to some of the stuff on Ripley's Believe It or Not. XD) Inspired by this Disney Channel rant: [link] by ~KooboriSapphire . I agree with all the things in it, 'cept the Phineas and Ferb, Jungle Book, and the Selena Gomez parts. ^^ (I didn't know how to categorize this
) I only watch Disney Channel and Disney XD when there's either Phineas and Ferb, or a CLASSIC movie. >.<

I miss the original Disney channel that I watched when I was little...it showed classic Disney movies (and even the more obscure ones), those hilarious cartoon shorts, and even seeing the old specials, which always started with "And now your host, Walt Disney." Getting to see the man himself is just...something kids these days don't have enough brains in them to truly appreciate.

Of course, this is but a small sample of what they used to show on the old Disney Channel. Saw my favorite live action films from Disney on this channel. Namely, "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea", "The Black Hole", and "Tron".

Oh, cool. ^_^ I've always wanted to see The Lion King's Timon and Pumbaa on TV. I've seen episodes on Youtube though, and I love them. X3

They also had some shows like "Pooh Corner", "Mouse-terpiece Theater", and even a game show called "Contraption", where two teams of kids would watch 2-minute clips from classic Disney films, and then answer trivia questions relating to the clip they had seen.

On YouTube, someone has done a four-part of one episode of "Contraption", to give you somewhat of an idea of what the show was all about.

Well sorta. As a child all I thought was the Hyenas in the lion king are Evil guys that did some dumb things that were funny.
Now after rewatching the movies, seeing the musical, and reading your fanfiction Short Stuff (Good fic by the way)
I finally saw this picture and had an epiphany that The hyenas from the lion king are animals who really hungry and do what ever it takes to get food, they are characters that should be looked into.
Also, when think about it, Shenzi is downright awesome.(P.S. I'm sorry for all my lion king rambling crap, I can't help myself)
