Sarsha with friends at a pizzaria restaurant in Mirepoix, southern France in 2000. This was in one of the small streets that surround the medieval marketplace centre of the town, but my attempts to find it on google Earth after all this time have not been a success.The last year I used a film camera (would have kept using it, but fell in a river photographing a waterfall.) This was just a cheap compact camera I took in my luggage though. Sarsha is looking at me and Bob Drake. I don't want to identify my other friend without permission. Sorry, one of these old photos I don't have a good enough scanner to enlarge properly, so an ancient scan.Related content

I may have mentioned this in another photo, but I think this was where we walking down the... I guess it's a narrow road, though there was no traffic on it - and a little kid ran behind us, pointing at Sarsha and exclaiming, "Chien! Chien!", and I said, "Non - Loup!" (which was a bit of an accomplishment, and probably the only time I ever said 'wolf' in french to a french person.
The French are pretty cool with dogs in restaurants, so a wolf outside one was not an issue.
