I wwant to see how it looks on you.” Your face exploded into a bright red blush, “you picked this out Eridan?” the sea dwelling troll nodded and gestured to your bathroom, “go and put it on!” you huffed and grabbed the…covering, going into the bathroom to change.
You came out quietly and tried to make it into your room to find your other swimsuit, but you found yourself blocked by Eridan who smiled and looked you up and down, his face had a light purple flush on it, “it looks great on you! I kneww I made the right choice!” he grabbed your hand and dragged you out to his car.
--at the party—
You were the center of attention no doubt. Eridan was constantly telling other trolls off, claiming you as his date for the night. When you two got out to the pool, Eridan got undressed (not naked! Pervs...) and jumped in the pool, “are you comin in (y/n)?” you sat by the edge of the pool and watched him, “I think I will just sit he-“ you were interrupted by Eridan pulling you in, when you broke the surface of the water you looked around angrily for the purple-blooded troll, “when I get my hands on you Eridan!”
“wwhen you get your hands on me wwhat?” his arms wrapped around your waist and he pulled you close, his grey skin and your own (s/c) skin contrasting. You turned around and poked him in the chest, “I cant believe you pulled me in!” he laughed and swam around the pool slowly, “you wwould hawe taken to long too get in anywway, so I helped you in.” you glared at him a little longer before sighing, “whatever.” He looked at something at the pools edge and smiled, “wwant to do some diwin?”
You were at the edge of the diving board, looking at the water below, “come on (y/n)!” you sighed and jumped off, doing a flip before hitting the water, you were coming up when someone grabbed you and held you close, you broke the surface and made eye contact with Eridan, “what was that for? I can swim you know!” he shook his head, his face was bright purple, “I knoww you can swwim…its that.” He pointed to the other side of the pool where you saw your top floating on the waters surface. Your face exploded in a blush, “get me out of this pool now Ampora…” he took you to the side and put his shirt on you. You proceeded to stomp inside.

You had gone inside and had a bowl of ice-cream to make you feel better, now you were outside on a lounge chair, still in Eridan’s shirt. Said troll was next to you, “hey (y/n)?” you looked over at him, he had put on pants and that’s it, you didn’t have a problem with that at all, “yeah Eridan?” he sighed and looked at you, “(f/n) told me somethin wwhen I saww (him/her) at the store…and I wwanted to know if it was true…” you looked over at him, he had run to you crying for forgiveness about the suit, you forgave him of course.
“well, I can’t tell you if it’s true if I don’t know what (he/she) told you.” He nodded quickly.
“wwell wwe wwere talkin and they said that you liked me…” you blushed and nodded, “yeah I like you.” He stood up and moved to sit on the edge of the lounge chair that you were currently sitting in, “I mean, like like…like the wway someone wwould feel for their matesprite…” your blush got brighter and all you did was nod.
“so is it true?” you nodded. The two of you sat in silence for awhile before he spoke again, “good. Wwill you be my matesprite then?” you looked at him, his face was bright purple and he was looking at the ground, the gills on his sides shuddered occasionally. You sat up and hugged him, “of course ill be your matesprite Eridan.”
He smiled and hugged you back, kissing your forehead.
