Description

This is dedicated to a cat I met at a horse barn with the name Gecko. My favorite OC, Lemurpaw, I writing a story for him so I decided to include Gecko. hope u enjoy!

Lemurpaw's POV:

Lemurpaw rested his head on his paws. He had been traveling for 4 days straight now. & he had only been an apprentice for a moon.

Then, he felt a paw prod his flank. But Lemurpaw was tired & did not want to get up. "Come on Lemurpaw!" a voice of a young she-cat mewed impatiently. Lemurpaw opened his eyes to see Specklepaw, a nice friendly & fun golden furred she-cat, also his sister.

Lemurpaw rose to his paws, & stretched his front legs forward. Then, he wrinkled his nose at the smell of a Thunderpath. He then remember he wasn't back at his old territory, he was in a little tunnel under a Thunderpath.

"Ugh! This stench!" Lemurpaw complained. His sister, Specklepaw laughed at him. Lemurpaw let out a grunt, & got to his paws. He saw Russetstar still asleep. the russet-colored tom looked young, in spite of his age.

Lemurpaw slid past his leader, pressing himself into the dirt wall of the tunnel until he finally got to the exit. He peered out & saw the edge of the Thunderpath. he crept out & leaped onto the grassland next to it. "Do we even know where we are going?"

"Somewhere," he turned around to see his sister behind him. He sighed. Lemurpaw wished that DarkClan, StormClan, MudClan & BlueClan hadn't driven MistClan out of their territory.

"Well this 'somewhere' isn't close I'm guessing" Lemurpaw growled at his sister. Specklepaw then leaped at his ring-tailed tail that looked like an actual lemur's tail. "I'm sorry okay?" he screeched.

"you better be," Specklepaw purred. The two siblings sat there, & waited for Russetstar to awake.

A few heartbeats later, the muscular tall russet-colored tom appeared, shaking his fur. "Do you two want to go & hunt?" he asked in a tired voice. Specklepaw nodded & bounded into the trees.

"Hey! wait up!" Lemurpaw called. he chased after his sister, until he saw her stalking a blue bird. Lemurpaw wanted to outdo his sister though. She always cought the best prey and impressed her Clan. Lemurpaw sniffed the air until he smelt a plump squirrel chewing a nut in between two roots. Lemurpaw crept forward, finally seeing the squirrel. Lemurpaw pounced at the creature, but it managed to escape and bound up the tree. Lemurpaw hissed in frustration. There was no way he would be able to climb up that tree, the only branches were all the way at the top.

He stalked back to Russetstar and flops to his side. "Where's your prey?" the leader asked. Lemurpaw hissed in annoyance, giving away everything Russetstar needed to know.

Then, Specklepaw came back with three rats & a blue bird. More cats started pouring out of the tunnel to compliment Specklepaw. Lemurpaw rolled his eyes & stalked back into the tunnel, but sprinted out as the loud noise of a monster zoomed by on the Thunderpath.

Gecko's POV:

Gecko rubbed her silver tabby back against the Thunderpath. the scratchy gray path felt soothing as Gecko collected the dust off of it. then, she bounded across the wide Thunderpath to the row of trailers and slid under one, watching as a gray tabby tom approached.

Gecko watched as the cat completely had no clue she was there. then, he spotted her. Gecko narrowed her eyes & sprung out, arching her back, unsheathing her claws & baring her teeth. the cat snarled back and darted to the right side where the barn was.

"who are you?" Gecko snarled. the tom just glared back at her, pacing back in forth.

"why should I tell? who are you?" he questioned. Gecko then leaped at the small tom, knocking him onto his back, then she felt heavy paws push her off of him. Gecko scrambled to her paws & saw a tall, muscular russet colored tom pad up.

"that's quite enough" he hissed. "we don't mean to bother you. we are lost looking for a new camp for our Clan," the muscular tom explained. Gecko let herself relax, & sat on the Thunderpath, lashing her tail impatiently.

"well, if you are looking fo a place with a bunch of two-legs around, you found it" she mewed. the tom shook his head & so did the smaller gray tabby tom. Gecko slid back under the trailer, as she watched more and more cats appear from an entrance of bushes.

"well, if that's so, we will be on our way... but can we stay here tonight?" the tom asked. Gecko thought for a moment. then, she straightened up and smiled. she flicked her tail for the muscular russet-colored tom to follow. Gecko slid under five trailers until she got to the sixth, & leaped onto a small stool. she reached with her paw & opened a thing the two-legs called doors.

"this trailer is empty. & there is plenty of mice & rats in the barn" Gecko explained. the bunch of cats flooded into the empty trailer. except for the small gray tabby tom.

"I'm sorry for being rude. My name is Lemurpaw. & that was our leader, Russetstar" Lemurpaw explained, flicking his tail towards the muscular tom Gecko had showed the trailer to.

that night, Gecko had rested with Lemurpaw & Russetstar's Clan that was apparently called MistClan.

The next morning, Gecko had made a decision.

"Uhh, Russetstar?" Gecko began. "May I join MistClan? Lemurpaw told me last night you guys were exiled from your old territory & umm, I wanna go" Gecko explained. Russetstar looked happy. He then licked Gecko's ear.

"as long as that what you want, I'm fine with it" he said. Gecko looked back at her home.

"as long as there's an abandoned Thunderpath to play on nearby" Gecko joked, but both of them knew that would make Gecko the happiest cat alive.

Lemurpaw's POV:

Lemurpaw padded beside Gecko & Specklepaw. Gecko was a small silver tabby she-cat, only about the same age as Lemurpaw. Specklepaw & Gecko were not getting along though. & only Lemurpaw knew why Specklepaw didn't like Gecko.

"Ugh, Lemurpaw! How could you be friends with this rogue who ate kittypet food?" Specklepaw growled. Lemurpaw glared back at her.

"Gecko can hunt for herself! & she isn't a kittypet" Lemurpaw hissed back. But Gecko interrupted him.

"Actually, my family was kittypets. My mother was named Tweetie & was a kittypet who lived at the barn. My father was Creamy, & my two brothers were Bob & Brownie while my two sisters were Lily & Mandy" Gecko explained. Specklepaw gave Lemurpaw a sneering look.

"Come on Gecko, we are going to walk ahead because this someone here is being so rude & disrespectful to you" Lemurpaw mewed, pushing Gecko forward.

The Clan padded along the Thunderpath, while Gecko walked on the edge of the Thunderpath.

"I still don't understand how you like the feeling of the Thunderpath," Lemurpaw purred. Gecko smiled back, & leaped to his side.

"sorry, my mother abandoned me, Tweetie, because I did not like any humans, & hung out mostly outside of the barn. I just got used to it & developed a feeling for the Thunderpath & lived on it" Gecko mewed. Lemurpaw nuzzled her.

"It's fine," but then, Russetstar screeched 'FOXES!' Lemurpaw ran and hid in a small burrow in front of a tree. But then he saw a fox leap at Gecko, as Russetstar ran to help the she-cat, another fox jumped out & bared its teeth, chasing Russetstar in circles. "No!" Lemurpaw ran out and threw himself on the foxes back, it took its fangs out of Gecko's shoulder and bucked, trying to remove Lemurpaw. Then, Specklepaw & her mentor Mouseflip started batting at the fox's flank. then, Specklepaw sliced the fox's nose. the fox whimpered and ran away. Lemurpaw leaped off the fox & tumbled to his side. He hauled himself up & licked his sister's cheek.

"Thanks," he purred in a low whisper. He then went to check on Gecko, who was licking at her shoulder. "Soilpaw! Crystaleye!" Lemurpaw called. Soilpaw was the first to arrive, she took one look, & bounded away to find some cobwebs & marigold.

"Thanks... Lemurpaw," Gecko panted. Lemurpaw pressed closer to his friend. he rested there with her until Soilpaw came back with cobwebs, marigold, & honey.

"Good job, Soilpaw!" Crystaleye congratulated her apprentice for getting the right herbs. Crystaleye chewed up a poultice of marigold & added some honey to sooth Gecko & for the poultice to taste good. "here," Crystaleye mewed, prodding the mushy poultice onto the wound. then, she put some cobwebs on top to stop the bleeding.

"thank you for helping her," Lemurpaw mewed, dipping his head. Crystaleye nodded. Soilpaw & Crystaleye then padded away, to where Russetstar was.

"You saved me," Gecko breathed. "I'll survive won't I?" she asked, sorrowfully, & Lemurpaw knew she wanted the truth.

"I-I don't know" he admitted. Gecko nodded and licked his ear.

"I'm fine now, you can go"

Gecko's POV:
They had traveled a whole day since the fox battle, they stayed in the other side of the Thunderpath where there was no trees, meaning there would be no foxes trying to kill them. Gecko saw Lemurpaw dragging his paws on the grass. she walked on the Thunderpath, but she liked the harsh feeling & numb paws.
"Week one!" she sneered. He shoved her playfully & light, making sure not to hurt her injured shoulder.
"Gecko!" Russetstar called. Gecko trotted up to the front of the Clan and paced beside her new leader. "Go stand beside Rosewatcher, she is heavily pregnant, & I need to know when she is having her kits" Russetstar complained. Gecko remembered Lemurpaw telling her Russetstar & Rosewatcher were mates. Gecko nodded & trotted to the back of the Clan where Rosewatcher was struggling to keep up.
"Hey!" Gecko mewed enthusiastically. Rosewatcher panted & flicked her tail lazily in greetings. "Hmm... Russestar! I think we should rest, Rosewatcher seems tired!" Gecko called. she saw as all the cats in front stopped. Rosewatcher flopped to her side. Then screeched.
"HELP!" she screeched. Soilpaw rushed over.
"what does she need?" the medicine cat apprentice asked. But then she saw the pain, & rushed away. Both Crystaleye & Soilpaw came back with chervil & twigs. They stuffed the chervil down her mouth, & instructed for her to clench the twigs in her jaws & snap whenever a kit came out.
Soon, there was three new kits; Skykit, a white & gray she-kit, Mudkit, a mottled brown tom-kit, & Needlekit, a brown & gray she-kit.
"Thank you so much," Rosewatcher panted, licking her kit's fur the opposite direction to give them warmth. For once, Gecko was appreciated by different cats then herself.
They continued to pad along, Suntip holding one of his kits, Gecko holding one, & Lemurpaw holding one. "I don't think you should walked on the Thunderpath with a kit in your jaws," Chrystaleye whispered. Gecko shrugged. "WATCH OUT!" Chrystaleye screeched out of no where when Gecko saw a monster heading her way. Chrystaleye shoved Gecko out of the way, & was hit by a massive monster.
"CHRYSTALEYE!!!" Gecko screeched, everyone turned to see the limp body of the medicine cat. Soilpaw bounded up & looked at her dead mentor in distraught.
"H-how did this happen?" she sobbed. Gecko dropped Skykit, & shoved the kit between Lemurpaw's paws. Gecko then padded up to Soilpaw.
"she shoved me out of the way before a monster hit me, but she couldn't get out in time" Gecko mewed. the Clan gasped, but Lemurpaw wrapped his tail around Gecko.
"Murderer" Soilpaw hissed & stalked away. Ivywind & Petalclaw dragged Chrystaleye's body away.
"we'll rest here," Russetstar decided.
as night crept into the sky, a hunting patrol came back. Mouseflip had two mice, Turtletuft had a rabbit, & Leafspark had a jackdaw. Then, Specklepaw's patrol came in. Specklepaw had two fat hares, Lemurpaw had a squirrel, & Creamfur had a mouse.
"The Clan will be fed well," Gecko mewed to herself. Before the hunting patrols had came back, Russetstar was teaching her the warrior code.
now back to the present, Gecko hear "okay," everyone turned & looked at Russetstar. "today, a great cat of MistClan has fallen" he began. "but today, a new one has risen. Our new medicine cat is Soilpaw!" he meowed. yowls of approval rose from the crowd of cats. "Now, she will be known as Soilmud," he added. Soilmud dipped her head towards her leader.

Lemurpaw's POV:
He trekked beside Specklepaw & Stoatpaw. He cast a glance at Gecko, who walked at the very back of the Clan. she had insisted on being left alone. Though it didn't feel right to Lemurpaw. It had been a day & Lemurpaw urged to rest. Rainclaw, the mentor of Stoatpaw had told him to walk with the rest of apprentices. Though Stoatpaw was mean & very foolish.
Lemurpaw looked up at the sly. Cloudy. of course. Russetstar said they would not rest until they got there. but no one knew when they would. Soilmud had been talking with Skykit a lot. Lemurpaw didn't like it because he heard Soilmud talking to Russetstar about his kit becoming a medicine cat, when Lemurpaw knew Skykit wanted to be a warrior. But Russetstar had agreed.
Yesterday, after the death of Chrystaleye, Russetstar tripped on some sharp two-leg rubbish, and it tore deep into his shoulder. Soilmud tried treating it, but could not find the right herbs, not even cobweb. Then, Lemurpaw saw eyes bore into his fur, he leaped & knocked Specklepaw over.
"hey! watch out!" she hissed. but then she saw the pair of eyes. now, he saw more than three more pairs of eyes appeared. Then, a small she-cat, about the size of an apprentice ran out from the bushes. Then, three more cats crept out, keeping close to the ground. Rainclaw then leaped in front of Lemurpaw & Specklepaw.
"who are you?!" the deputy of MistClan hissed.
"Sorry about my apprentice Poppypaw. My name is Redwing this is Stoatblaze. Also this is Amberpaw the med-cat apprentice. We belong to AmberClan. May we ask what we can do for you & who you are?" the one named Redwing asked.
"I'm Rainclaw. deputy of MistClan" Rainclaw hissed. Redwing tilted his head.
"there is another Clan out there?" He asked, shocked. Rainclaw nodded.
"Of course! There is more than us, there is DarkClan, MudClan, BlueClan, StormClan, & us, MistClan." Russetstar rasped, padding up to the patrol, Gecko & Soilmud following him.
"wow!" exclaimed Poppypaw. "Well, hmm... why are you here?" she added. Rainclaw hesitated, but Russetstar answered.
"We were exiled because we were driven out of our territory by a pack of wolves, & none of the Clans wanted to share territory or give up some territory to us, so they drive us out," Russetsar explained. "so, we came here, looking for a new camp & territory"
"hmm... just don't go anywhere where it smells different then this forest" Redwing mewed, & backed away with the rest of his Clan mates. Russestar nodded & stepped into the forest. Lemurpaw trotted up to Gecko then.
"Hey!" he mewed. They trekked through trees & undergrowth.
"hey" Gecko finally said. she seemed sad & mad at herself. Lemurpaw sighed.
"the death of Chrystaleye wasn't your fault, Chrystaleye knew she wouldn't make it," Lemurpaw exlained. Gecko looked at him.
"Well I'd rather have myself die instead of their medicine cat" she mewed solemnly. Lemurpaw touched his nose to her cheek.
"And the leader's kit die? I don't think so. They don't hate you, we all know it was a mistake," he mewed, pressing closer to Gecko. She nodded, but still looked hopeless. They finally came to a wide stream that was see through but beautiful. On the other side was two cherry trees, as an enterance to a big boulder with many caves dug into the boulder.
"Hmm," Russestar mumbled. He looked to the left & saw two stepping stones. "Here!" he called. He leaped, & successfully crossed the stream. Rainclaw did the same, & one after another until it was Lemurpaw & Gecko's turn.
"be careful," Lemurpaw murmured. Gecko nodded & leaped at the rock. She bunched her muscles & leaped at the sandy clearing on the other making it.
"Your turn!" she called. Lemurpaw crouched, & leaped at the slippery rock, but slipped & fell into the water. "LEMURPAW!" He heard Gecko screech. she leaped back onto the rock, as Lemurpaw flailed. she reached out for him, but did not get him. Lemurpaw tried swimming through the hard & fast current, & he made it!
"woah! your a great swimmer!" Gecko mewed, nuzzling him. Lemurpaw licked his chest fur in embarrassment.
Gecko & Specklepaw lapped constantly at his fur, trying to warm him. Once he was warm, He padded up to a little small tunnel that led into a cave that was carved into the boulder. Then, next to it on the left was a crevice opening to a wide & warm cave. on the right to the first cave was a very small, curved entrance to an underground clearing. Lemurpaw, Specklepaw & Gecko leaped on top of the small entrance-cave & saw another hollow tunnel carved into the boulder, leading into a smaller cave. Lemurpaw padded along with the two she-cats following to a small ditch in the boulder was & a tree branch hung over it, playing as the roof.
"This would be a good place for a camp," Lemurpaw meowed. Gecko & Specklepaw nodded. Then, Stoatpaw appeared.
"Hmph! It's very small, a Clan like us needs a huge camp!" he mewed confidently. but Rainclaw, the deputy & mentor of Stoatpaw padded up to him.
"Just because we are a great Clan doesn't mean we need to have a huge camp," he mewed. "Plus, around us is many marshy areas with many water-prey! If we make this our camp, we won't even have to go so far away to hunt!" Rainclaw explained happily. Stoatpaw sighed & stalked off.

Crystaleye chewed up a poultice of marigold & added some honey to sooth Gecko & for the poultice to taste good. "here," Crystaleye mewed, prodding the mushy poultice onto the wound. then, she put some cobwebs on top to stop the bleeding.

"thank you for helping her," Lemurpaw mewed, dipping his head. Crystaleye nodded. Soilpaw & Crystaleye then padded away, to where Russetstar was.

"You saved me," Gecko breathed. "I'll survive won't I?" she asked, sorrowfully, & Lemurpaw knew she wanted the truth.

"I-I don't know" he admitted. Gecko nodded and licked his ear.

"I'm fine now, you can go"

Gecko's POV:
They had traveled a whole day since the fox battle, they stayed in the other side of the Thunderpath where there was no trees, meaning there would be no foxes trying to kill them. Gecko saw Lemurpaw dragging his paws on the grass. she walked on the Thunderpath, but she liked the harsh feeling & numb paws.
"Week one!" she sneered. He shoved her playfully & light, making sure not to hurt her injured shoulder.
"Gecko!" Russetstar called. Gecko trotted up to the front of the Clan and paced beside her new leader. "Go stand beside Rosewatcher, she is heavily pregnant, & I need to know when she is having her kits" Russetstar complained. Gecko remembered Lemurpaw telling her Russetstar & Rosewatcher were mates. Gecko nodded & trotted to the back of the Clan where Rosewatcher was struggling to keep up.
"Hey!" Gecko mewed enthusiastically. Rosewatcher panted & flicked her tail lazily in greetings. "Hmm... Russestar! I think we should rest, Rosewatcher seems tired!" Gecko called. she saw as all the cats in front stopped. Rosewatcher flopped to her side. Then screeched.
"HELP!" she screeched. Soilpaw rushed over.
"what does she need?" the medicine cat apprentice asked. But then she saw the pain, & rushed away. Both Crystaleye & Soilpaw came back with chervil & twigs. They stuffed the chervil down her mouth, & instructed for her to clench the twigs in her jaws & snap whenever a kit came out.
Soon, there was three new kits; Skykit, a white & gray she-kit, Mudkit, a mottled brown tom-kit, & Needlekit, a brown & gray she-kit.
"Thank you so much," Rosewatcher panted, licking her kit's fur the opposite direction to give them warmth. For once, Gecko was appreciated by different cats then herself.
They continued to pad along, Suntip holding one of his kits, Gecko holding one, & Lemurpaw holding one. "I don't think you should walked on the Thunderpath with a kit in your jaws," Chrystaleye whispered. Gecko shrugged. "WATCH OUT!" Chrystaleye screeched out of no where when Gecko saw a monster heading her way. Chrystaleye shoved Gecko out of the way, & was hit by a massive monster.
"CHRYSTALEYE!!!" Gecko screeched, everyone turned to see the limp body of the medicine cat. Soilpaw bounded up & looked at her dead mentor in distraught.
"H-how did this happen?" she sobbed. Gecko dropped Skykit, & shoved the kit between Lemurpaw's paws. Gecko then padded up to Soilpaw.
"she shoved me out of the way before a monster hit me, but she couldn't get out in time" Gecko mewed. the Clan gasped, but Lemurpaw wrapped his tail around Gecko.
"Murderer" Soilpaw hissed & stalked away. Ivywind & Petalclaw dragged Chrystaleye's body away.
"we'll rest here," Russetstar decided.
as night crept into the sky, a hunting patrol came back. Mouseflip had two mice, Turtletuft had a rabbit, & Leafspark had a jackdaw. Then, Specklepaw's patrol came in. Specklepaw had two fat hares, Lemurpaw had a squirrel, & Creamfur had a mouse.
"The Clan will be fed well," Gecko mewed to herself. Before the hunting patrols had came back, Russetstar was teaching her the warrior code.
now back to the present, Gecko hear "okay," everyone turned & looked at Russetstar. "today, a great cat of MistClan has fallen" he began. "but today, a new one has risen. Our new medicine cat is Soilpaw!" he meowed. yowls of approval rose from the crowd of cats. "Now, she will be known as Soilmud," he added. Soilmud dipped her head towards her leader.

Lemurpaw's POV:
He trekked beside Specklepaw & Stoatpaw. He cast a glance at Gecko, who walked at the very back of the Clan. she had insisted on being left alone. Though it didn't feel right to Lemurpaw. It had been a day & Lemurpaw urged to rest. Rainclaw, the mentor of Stoatpaw had told him to walk with the rest of apprentices. Though Stoatpaw was mean & very foolish.
Lemurpaw looked up at the sly. Cloudy. of course. Russetstar said they would not rest until they got there. but no one knew when they would. Soilmud had been talking with Skykit a lot. Lemurpaw didn't like it because he heard Soilmud talking to Russetstar about his kit becoming a medicine cat, when Lemurpaw knew Skykit wanted to be a warrior. But Russetstar had agreed.
Yesterday, after the death of Chrystaleye, Russetstar tripped on some sharp two-leg rubbish, and it tore deep into his shoulder. Soilmud tried treating it, but could not find the right herbs, not even cobweb. Then, Lemurpaw saw eyes bore into his fur, he leaped & knocked Specklepaw over.
"hey! watch out!" she hissed. but then she saw the pair of eyes. now, he saw more than three more pairs of eyes appeared. Then, a small she-cat, about the size of an apprentice ran out from the bushes. Then, three more cats crept out, keeping close to the ground. Rainclaw then leaped in front of Lemurpaw & Specklepaw.
"who are you?!" the deputy of MistClan hissed.
"Sorry about my apprentice Poppypaw. My name is Redwing this is Stoatblaze. Also this is Amberpaw the med-cat apprentice. We belong to AmberClan. May we ask what we can do for you & who you are?" the one named Redwing asked.
"I'm Rainclaw. deputy of MistClan" Rainclaw hissed. Redwing tilted his head.
"there is another Clan out there?" He asked, shocked. Rainclaw nodded.
"Of course! There is more than us, there is DarkClan, MudClan, BlueClan, StormClan, & us, MistClan." Russetstar rasped, padding up to the patrol, Gecko & Soilmud following him.
"wow!" exclaimed Poppypaw. "Well, hmm... why are you here?" she added. Rainclaw hesitated, but Russetstar answered.
"We were exiled because we were driven out of our territory by a pack of wolves, & none of the Clans wanted to share territory or give up some territory to us, so they drive us out," Russetsar explained. "so, we came here, looking for a new camp & territory"
"hmm... just don't go anywhere where it smells different then this forest" Redwing mewed, & backed away with the rest of his Clan mates. Russestar nodded & stepped into the forest. Lemurpaw trotted up to Gecko then.
"Hey!" he mewed. They trekked through trees & undergrowth.
"hey" Gecko finally said. she seemed sad & mad at herself. Lemurpaw sighed.
"the death of Chrystaleye wasn't your fault, Chrystaleye knew she wouldn't make it," Lemurpaw exlained. Gecko looked at him.
"Well I'd rather have myself die instead of their medicine cat" she mewed solemnly. Lemurpaw touched his nose to her cheek.
"And the leader's kit die? I don't think so. They don't hate you, we all know it was a mistake," he mewed, pressing closer to Gecko. She nodded, but still looked hopeless. They finally came to a wide stream that was see through but beautiful. On the other side was two cherry trees, as an enterance to a big boulder with many caves dug into the boulder.
"Hmm," Russestar mumbled. He looked to the left & saw two stepping stones. "Here!" he called. He leaped, & successfully crossed the stream. Rainclaw did the same, & one after another until it was Lemurpaw & Gecko's turn.
"be careful," Lemurpaw murmured. Gecko nodded & leaped at the rock. She bunched her muscles & leaped at the sandy clearing on the other making it.
"Your turn!" she called. Lemurpaw crouched, & leaped at the slippery rock, but slipped & fell into the water. "LEMURPAW!" He heard Gecko screech. she leaped back onto the rock, as Lemurpaw flailed. she reached out for him, but did not get him. Lemurpaw tried swimming through the hard & fast current, & he made it!
"woah! your a great swimmer!" Gecko mewed, nuzzling him. Lemurpaw licked his chest fur in embarrassment.
Gecko & Specklepaw lapped constantly at his fur, trying to warm him. Once he was warm, He padded up to a little small tunnel that led into a cave that was carved into the boulder. Then, next to it on the left was a crevice opening to a wide & warm cave. on the right to the first cave was a very small, curved entrance to an underground clearing. Lemurpaw, Specklepaw & Gecko leaped on top of the small entrance-cave & saw another hollow tunnel carved into the boulder, leading into a smaller cave. Lemurpaw padded along with the two she-cats following to a small ditch in the boulder was & a tree branch hung over it, playing as the roof.
"This would be a good place for a camp," Lemurpaw meowed. Gecko & Specklepaw nodded. Then, Stoatpaw appeared.
"Hmph! It's very small, a Clan like us needs a huge camp!" he mewed confidently. but Rainclaw, the deputy & mentor of Stoatpaw padded up to him.
"Just because we are a great Clan doesn't mean we need to have a huge camp," he mewed. "Plus, around us is many marshy areas with many water-prey! If we make this our camp, we won't even have to go so far away to hunt!" Rainclaw explained happily. Stoatpaw sighed & stalked off.
