Description Yes, I realize this is contradictory, but I've always wondered what this story would be like in RWS form.

Rusty model by Wildnorwester.
Route by Sodor Island 3D
Diesels came with the game I believe.

It was certainly amazing when I found out this was the only 4th season story not to be adapted from the RWS. So that means that Stepney wasn't in danger of getting scrapped?

Well, technically he was, being a steam engine.

Are you saying all the steam engines needed to be saved from scrap?

Define "all."

All as in Sodor? the UK? the World?

You see, in real life, Stepney is a preserved engine from the Bluebell Railway, which is a heritage railway. Considering he lived at England; he was in danger of being scrapped; as well as all the other engines there. It wasn't like if he was about to meet the lighter's torch like Oliver was, though he was in danger of being sent for scrap. It's pretty much the same as if a species is endangered; it's in risk of become extinct; yet it hasn't yet.

Actually, in the original version of the story in the RWS book: "Stepney the Bluebell Engine", all he does is simply pay a visit to Sodor, and go back. Another thing that was incorrect in the TVS adaption is that the Bluebell Railway is NOT on Sodor.

Well, I had always imagined Stepney wasn't rescued from Sodor, like in the book and in real life.
