Description
Finished a few projects almost at the same time, took a few days off for myself. Decided to relax and improve myself, go back to basic, find out why do I like to paint in the first place. I got this idea of painting a lion king warrior 3 weeks ago, I guess it is because I watched the new Thundercats and think it could have been much better, a bit disappointed as I watch more and more episodes.
I had a lot fun painting everything in this painting, the rough bare metal, the polished shinny metal, the muscles, the hair, the statues etc. After reading the book " The Art of Blizzard Entertainment ", I was impressed by how much details their artists PAINTED in their paintings, instead of using photo textures that much.
