Finally it is holiday!! After finishing most of my other works, i started painting this picture for about 5 days, on and off, this is my first digital painting that was done 100% using photoshop, without working on a handrawn lineart. I used quite alot of layers while i was painting this in order to create better depths. I was inspired by my favourite artists, Matt Gaser and Dodecaden. Comments please, tell me what is wrong with this painting and i hope you people will like it, thanks!!Related content

This was a DD on the second or third day I was on this site. That wasn't that long ago, but I just looked at it again, and I totally made the right decision fav+'ing it. This is really amazing. Your ability to capture the experience of wonder and awe in a painting is truly amazing.

I can feel the cool breeze, and temperature of the iron balcony rails.
He looks on in awe like only a child does. More amazed than afraid, he wipes his eyes to see if he is dreaming.

I absolutely love it, has a strange yet fascinating feel to it. It brings the confusion of having a child's Nightmare or a dream come true. And it somewhat brings out my inner childhood.

This is in my favs....its absolutely awesome...but coming back to have a second look i actually think it has something missing....FIREWORKS...id love to see some background fireworks going off alongside that flying parade it would of defo made a nice finishing touch, not too much though just a suttle hint.

this reminds me so much of Disney!! It's like a half ratatouille painting of paris. Except U know, the whale looks like it's from Fantasia, the monkey reminds me of Lion King, the apple reminds me of 'James and the giant peach'. But I like this visual cause it's very dreamy, like some childhood fantasy that we would never give up.
