i applied some new techniques with i had learned in a tutorial conducted by one of the tutors in my college in this painting,done in PS cs2 and painter ix.both are genius, both do what they think is right,both were killed by shinigamis,and both are known as L....

Dude, have a few comment, buy I dunno how to use those program to draw it. 1st of all, shadow can be improve, try to use more colour.
And try to look for Mr. Hoo "Cheng Yung" or "Cheng Yong". Or X-Water Colour Lecturer. Maybe you will get something from him.
The background can be more freestyle also.
Over-all I will give you a 8/10. Good 1 man ^^
