Marcia Anne Tallington's life had never been easy. Orphaned at a very young age and a soldier for most of her life, the battlefield became her home. Fate seemed to finally reward her for her resilience when she run into the scientist Benin Ike. Under his guidance she became her unit's MVP and even learned to show her feelings and experience love. But again, it shouldn't last.

After her then-partner Rufus Schwarzkreuz snapped and went on a rampage, destroying everything Marcia loved and cherished in the process, Tallington became quite the Shadow Stalker hater.

Since then the Corporation has terminated the project Shadow Stalker and there are no more of them - officially.

However, the formula found its way to the black market and now the queenpin of crime called the Viper runs her own personal brigade of Shadow Stalkers.

And who better than the raging firebird M.A.T. to go after and decimate them?
