*Sigh* I really wanted to do this next month, but I'm currently in near-artist's-block-mode and I figured it probably was because I had two commissions on my desk, I hadn't finished yet.Since it's business first, pleasure second, I decided to do my gawd damn duty and get those commissions done first!
So this one's for , who managed to grab the free Quadro Peril request by winning my lil' "guess the villain" riddle from the first Quadro Peril pic.
What? You didn't catch the riddle? That's probably because Zorzathir solved it, like, six minutes after the pic was up
So congrats to him and here's your prize, man!
Zorzathir wanted a pair of different characters for every panel, enduring the four perils that together make the Quadro Peril.
( being: snake/naga, tentacles, cables-ropes-chains-etc, veggie-peril OR webbing, alternatively )
PANEL 1: The villainous Coral ( who I apparently haven't drawn in FIVE years
) squeezing Fang and Variety.PANEL 2: Sam and Lauren in the grasp of Vlad Shakirov ( who really loves his job, it seems
).PANEL 3: Trish Wolfe and Redback cabled. No villain present, but with a strong hint who did this
PANEL 4: Tári Amandil and Yenna Dragona in vegetrouble. Probably because Tári had to pick a flower ( Ent that's why
).In the background there you see a new villain, making her
debut. Her name's Tiana ... and she's no delicate flower

Now this is awesome stuff! Every one of these perils is awesome.
1. Fitting that when you drew Coral again that she would go up against Fang, the Jungle Goddess. That and Variety being included never hurts.
2. Guess Vlad is a strong SamxLauren fan if he wanted to see them together this badly.
3. Guess Dmitri really decided to be thorough and binding the two. I guess maybe even a distraction from Nicky may not help the ladies.
4. Oh yes, I can imagine something like that being caused by Tari. Poor naive Elf. Also, cool new villain. She has quite the Poison Ivy-esque to her.

Thanks. I had this character in mind since forever, but never got a final design done.
Wanted a plant-based villain, but didn't want an obvious Poison Ivy clone.
First I needed a name, once I had that, I needed a design. Gave me a serious run for my money.
But now, something, something years later, she finally appears

I'm just saying because Coral usually appears in a jungle setting, and Fang is a Jungle Goddess.

When I saw Panel 2, my first thought was "when did Eppy grow her hair out and dye it blonde?"

Yeah, same color I'm using for Eppy. Didn't want to give all three of 'em the same skin tone.
Sam seems to like the beach, so I decided to give her a teint. I could be wrong there, though
And Lauren is a vampire, so she needed to be a pale hot mess
