Cover Girl:
 VWW World Champion Drexler

Place: Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Date: April 28, 2024

Free-4-All:

1. The Texas Hellcats (Tessa Clemets & Joy Callahan) defeated The U.S. (S)Express (Busty Rhodes & Julie Stripes)
- Clemets pinned Stripes after a Tex-Axe ( Flapjack/Stunner combination ).

Note: The commentators let fans know, that the Hellcats had renamed the "Lone Star Drop" to "Tex-Axe". The move itself proved as efficient as ever. Surprisingly, a baffled Busty Rhodes didn't even try to break up the winning cover, standing on the apron and facepalming. As the Hellcats celebrated, Rhodes told Stripes that she couldn't believe she had lost in two minutes and that she, Stripes, was embarrassing her. She then walked away, with Julie Stripes running after her, apologizing, promising to do better next time and begging for a chance. It seems there was trouble in paradise with the U.S. (S)Express. Meanwhile in the ring, the Hellcats' celebration was cut short by the Gymnatics ambushing them. The two musclebound brawlers laid them out with a Double Last Ride Powerbomb each before leaving.

Match Time: 01:46

Next, cameras caught up with The Gymnatics on their way back through the curtain. They shouted into the camera that they were sick and tired of being left of the card. If nobody cared to pay attention to them, they would now force everyone to take note by bullying their way into the spotlight. They would take over and they would do so by any means necessary, said the Gymnatics.

2. Cymidei defeated Miho Blood by countout

- Blood failed to answer the referee's count of 10 after crashing through the announce table.

Note: Cymidei blocked Blood's Spin Kick and tossed her out of the ring with the Near-Death Experience ( Belly-to-Back Toss ), sending her crashing through the announce table. Miho Blood never recovered. When Cymidei attacked her further after the match by locking in the Behemoth Lock ( Full Nelson ) outside the ring on a defenseless Miho, the latter was saved by Michelle Wildfire, who decked the monster with a chair shot to the back. Cymidei, however, no-sold the attack, punched the chair out of Wildfire's hand and the two brawled through the crowd to the back.

Match Time: 01:02

3. Cobie Rogue (c) defeated Shakira Montego
Singles Match for the FEMME FORCE Internet Championship
- Rogue pinned Montego after countering the HyperCutter ( Handspring Cutter ) into a Reverse DDT.

1. The Fabulous Purists (JC Quinn & Deborah Saint) (c) ( w/ Priscilla Chapman ) defeated Made of Awesome (Angel Deville & Killer Bod)

Tag Team Match for the VWW United States Tag Team Championship

- Quinn pinned Deville with a Jackknife Hold.

Note: Made of Awesome seemed on the verge of winning, when Angel Deville hit a very rare Screw Attack ( Corkscrew Moonsault ) on Deborah Saint. However, there had been a blind tag moments earlier and Saint was no longer legal. Before Deville could comprehent, JC Quinn rushed her, pushed her out of the cover and rolled her up with a Jackknife in one fluent motion for the win. As the Purists retreated, the Gymnatics stormed the ring and assaulted Deville and Killer Bod, delivering on their earlier promise of making their pesence felt. It appeared they wanted to start a war with the entire division.

Match Time: 10:10

2. Aki Onigata defeated Brianna R/T (c) - TITLE CHANGE!!! -
Singles Match for the VWW International Championship

- Onigata submitted R/T with the Oni-Gatame ( Cattle Mutilation ).

Note: With this victory, Aki Onigata actually completed both, the VWW Triple Crown AND Grand Slam ( even if her Global Title reign had been very brief ). She celebrated by breaking character, raising the title high and shouting to the sky ( in Japanese ) "This is for you, Hana-Chan!". Thus dedicating the win to her late friend.

Match Time: 10:34

- Russo pinned Anderson after a Spear.

- Caliente pinned Bentley after a Tree Frog Splash ( High-Angle Frogsplash ).
NOTE: Coco Caliente capitalized wih her Finisher after Russo had just accidentally hit Bentley with a Spear.

Note: Russo accidentally speared her own partner when Coco Caliente moved out of the way. Even though this caused the to lose, Russo blamed Bentley for the loss afterwards, never once apologizing for the accidental Spear. When a weakened Bentley fought back, she received a huge pop for slapping Russo, but the latter easily overpowered her in the following scuffle. Talia Orchid had to run out and hold her back. She then stayed in the ring, comforting Bentley, who seemed on the verge of crying tears of rage. Meanwhile Russo walked away, shaking her head, showing no remorse.

Match Time: 27:33

4. Lady Dragón defeated Talia Orchid and LuFisto (c) - TITLE CHANGE!!! -
No Holds Barred Three-Way Dance for the VWW Legends Championship

- Dragón won by last pinning Talia Orchid.

Eliminations:
1. LuFisto by Talia Orchid & Lady Dragón ( 11:40 );
- Dragón & Orchid simultaneously pinned LuFisto after Orchid's Talia Iacta Est ( Rolling Cutter ).
2. Talia Orchid by Lady Dragón ( 16:57 ).
- Dragón pinned Orchid after an Aztec Driver ( Back-to-Belly Piledriver ).

Note: Despite LuFisto and Talia Orchid both being Canadians, the returning Lady Dragón received a hero's welcome. Nobody minded her winning this. Both Canadians were put over strong, though. LuFisto by taking both challengers to pin her and Talia Orchid by kicking out of Lady Dragón's famous Aztec-Plex ( Bridging Package German Suplex ), needing the rarely used Aztec Driver to be finished off.

Match Time: 16:57

5. Les Usurpatrices (Adele de Roche & Jamari Dalphoun) defeated The Black Family (Layla & Jayla Black) ( w/ Addy Black )

Tag Team Lead Pipe on a Pole Match
- Dalphoun pinned Layla after a Coup de Force ( Shoot Kick/Shining Wizard combination ).

Note: Addy Black produced an illegal additional lead pipe from under the ring, handing it to Layla Black behind the referee's back. The fans booed when Layla used it on Jamari Dalphoun ... then cheered when the latter actually kicked out of the following pin at 2,99999. A few minutes later, Les Usurpatrices lived up to their top team of VWW status by handing the vicious Black Family their first loss in VWW. Here, it was Adele de Roche, hitting Layla Black with a lead pipe, setting her up to take their Double-Team Finisher.

Match Time: 13:13

6. Rebecca Rude defeated Jessica Priest

- Rude pinned Priest after an Old Shatterface ( Hangman's Facebuster ).

Note: After a wonderful display of technical wizardry, Rebecca Rude had to give this early match of the year contender an unworthy ending by playing dirty. After an unsportsmanlike thumb to the eye during a Brainbuster attempt, she turned the tables on Priest with a Stun Gun, before hitting her own Finisher for the win. As if that wasn't enough, she assaulted her fallen opponent after the match, screaming at her that she wasn't a maineventer and hitting Old Shatterface twice more. Here, Pauline Marchesi made the save, forcefully janking her off of Priest and sending her flying with a powerful Belly-to-Belly Suplex. While retreating, Rude yelled at Marchesi that they now had a problem.

Match Time: 20:45

7. Midnight Tear (c) defeated Skye Scrapper ( w/ Nestor Chapman ) by DQ

Singles Match for the VWW North American Championship
- Scrapper was disqualified when Vicky Smythe attacked Midnight Tear.

Note: Realizing they were losing the fans, due to their styles not mashing all too well, Midnight Tear and Skye Scrapper decided to "go home" early. When Midnight Tear had the giantess on her knees and locked into the Sleeper Hold, Vicky Smythe made her unannounced return, her hair by now fully grown back, and caused the DQ by hitting Midnight Tear with a chair. As Smythe, Scrapper and Priscilla Chapman attacked the champion after the match, Thuy Nguyen and Minh-Khai ran out to make the save. A now recovered Skye Scrapper fought them off, even hitting a Double Chokeslam on them. This saw the second return of the night, as Írem the Machine returned and confronted the Heels in the ring. Here, Scrapper slowly backed off, following the retreating Chaman Enterprises up the ramp. All the while Nestor Chapman yelled at Írem, that Scrapper would not fight her "for free".

Match Time: 07:19

8. Sophia Steel defeated Beth McIntyre"The Original Nightmare" Sabrina Crowley and Drexler (c) - TITLE CHANGE!!! -
Fatal Fourway Match for the Undisputed VWW World Championship
- Sophia pinned McIntyre after a Steel Hammer ( Northern Lariat ).

Note: Things escalated during the climax. First, Drexler seemingly removed Sophia Steel from the match by chokeslamming her through the (re-erected) announce table. As the Black Family interfered, Drexler and Beth McIntyre joined forces to fend them off. Only after doing so and clothelining Crowley out of the ring, the two powerhouses fought. Here, McIntyre got the better of the World Champion, finally dropping her after three Celtic Boots ( Running Corner Big Boot ) back-to-back. When she pulled a prone Drexler back to the center of the ring to make a cover, though, she got ambushed and nailed from behind with the Steel Hammer. The fans actually counted along and cheered as the disruptor, Sophia Steel, pinned McIntyre clean ... and won her very first world title! For the briefest of moments the mask fell and Steel showed pure, honest joy, before collecting herself and refusing to have her hand raised by the referee. Grabbing the camera, she yelled: "Yo, boss man! I want YOU to hand this to me, acknowledge me as YOUR champion! Until then ... this means SHIT!". At that, she dropped the title belt and left the ring. Still, she posed on the stage, a sinister smirk on her face. Meanwhile, Beth McIntyre came to in the ring, looking hurt and angry, while Drexler looked actually lost and disappointed, almost heartbroken. All the while the announce team wondered what Sophia Steel's victory would mean for the VWW landscape.

Victory March is in the books! What follows is Cataclysm!

BACKGROUND:
Mere ten days ago Talia Orchid surrendered her half of the World Tag Team Championship to Ramona Russo in an attempt to keep the team from falling apart. But can Russo and Jess Bentley get on the same page for a gutsy title defense, after everything that happened? Are they even reading the same book?
Also, on the April 6 edition of Saturday Night Hawtness, the mighty Drexler shocked the world when she pinned Ramona Russo clean to capture the VWW World Title! Now the monstrous champion will make her second title defense against Sabrina CrowleyBeth McIntyre and wildcard Sophia Steel. Who will stand tall in this one?
Whoever will, it's already signed and a done deal, that the winner of the main event fourway will face Reiko Hinomoto at Saints & Sinners in May!
Meanwhile, riding a tidal wave of momentum after defeating Anastasia Chernova at Victory March, Rebecca Rude still took it personal that Jessica Priest earned herself a PPV World Title shot before her. Now the two will clash in a match, that could be an instant classic ... or just an ugly-ass fight!
After getting laid out with lead pipes on April 1, Les Usurpatrices seek vengeance against the undefeated Black Family in a match, where said weapon will be legal! There are nor ifs or maybes here, this one IS gonna get ugly!

To everyone who cares, thanks for watching!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

 AFTERMATH:
On the following May 4 Star Wars Day special edition of Saturday Night Hawtness, the following things happened:
1. The Gymnatics started their path back to relevance by defeating Jody English & Billie BraXXton.
2. Olivia Parker defeated April Anderson.
3. Big Allie Dallas defended her World TV Title by defeating the debuting Zayda Steel.
4. Drexler utterly squashed Vipress.
5. Midnight Tear defended the North American Title successfully against Priscilla Chapman.
Following the match, The Malice made her first appearance since April 1, helping Midnight Tear and The Mortal Coil fend off Chapman Enterprises. Her and Midnight Tear shaking hands afterwards sure was a surreal scene ( for the smart fans it sure was no surprise that admitted Star Wars nut Malice would make her return on Star Wars Day ).
Then, in the main event segment of the show, Sophia Steel called out VWW owner Robert Schütze, demanding her handed her the title belt and officially acknowledge her as his company's world champion, as well as apologize for overlooking her. In the process, she utterly disrespected VWW legend and commissioner Shizuka Kazama, treating her like air and wanting to only talk to Schütze himself. Here, she would drop a bombshell on the less informed fans in attendance with some inside-baseball remarks. The show then ended with the new Undisputed VWW World Champion being confronted by her first challenger, the legendary Reiko Hinomoto.
