Things are going alright, we're still having to fight Magic every step of the way Lol but we're pushing through! I've been off more days than working this week because things are scarce. We were thinking about it, but we heard late and it's a bit to pricey for our budgets right now :\ are you guys going?

I totally understand the price issue. I got a student discount but it was still a tough decision to justify the expense. Cristina won't be going with me this year. Partly because of cost, partly because she didn't feel like she got as much from it as I did last year.

Well you'll have to let me know how it went! We should all meet up and double date sometime! Patrick and I are trying to get to know some couples in the area ^^ not sure when we'll all have time, but might be fun to catch a movie or something sometime! (I'd say disneyland. . . but again, budget lol)

The CTN expo was both discourageing (the are a lot of very talented people competeing in this same job market) and inspiring (I really want to continue pursuing my own projects and improving myself). I met this guy Chris Oatley from Disney... great guy with a great podcast called Paper Wings all about developing a personal project as a portfolio piece.
Yes, we should plan a double date sometime. Budget is tough though, for sure.

Yeah Siggraph was like that for me too, and in a way Deviantart is that way But as long as there's a good amount of inspiration in there it's alright. And that podcast sounds awesome, I'll have to look into it!

I think once the crazy holiday season is over we can look into something simple, coffee or an early movie (we love going to see movies Saturday morning before noon and getting the cheap prices at AMC )
