I think this is absolutely adorable and I love how you sprinkled little elements of Halloween everywhere.
The only critique I could actually point out is that the middle comes off a little blurry and I'm not quite sure why.
Otherwise, the colors match the cute style perfectly. You filled up the space nicely and there's a good balance of elements and white space. It doesn't feel too busy or too empty which makes this pleasing to look at.
The only reason I took off points originality and impact is that I feel that this type of artwork isn't the type that I haven't seen before, however that doesn't mean that I don't appreciate it for what it is. It's absolutely adorable and I'd love to see more of this.

This is adorable! You did amazing work on the eyes and hair. Though I should mention that her left knee is kinda odd; that shadow there makes it look a bit misshapen. Overall, though, it's a great piece. Is her hair made from water?

I've heard before that some artists miscategorize their art on purpose so they can get to the front page easily, since only a few people submit art under those chosen categories.

Yeah they call it miscat, I think. I didn't know it was a thing until I read about it from an artist I'm watching. I guess it's a "tactic" for artists that seek exposure β an unfair one, that is, sadly. Since it may ruin the chance of another submission that's rightfully put in that category.

i like it. she is one adorable trial captain. the soft pallet helps prevent the contrasting color from clashing. the floating objects don't overpower the foreground.
however some of the details aren't quite as crisp as they should be particularly in the eyes. they a just a smidgen too soft. instead of looking at her eyes, i'm drawn to the sharpest line in the piece which is the highlight of her hair. softening those highlights and crisping up the line work of the eye would help it a lot.
