These were little creatures i made up in my Design class, last semester. Don't know what, but they are but the lurk in light and dark. Most know the light as good, but in the end the balance is there. The light are just are as hateful and and unaccepting as the darkness. So there can be no true peace because in the end we need the balance of the good and the bad.-----------

Light can be a bit*h in a million ways, it's also prejeduce.
While darkness is the worlds greatest therapist, it says: ' be cool man come here I'll give you as many hugs as you want while you sort out your feelings'.
That said from a person who've only received neglect from light, and comfort in darkness.. Hell darkness is warm, light is cold.

What is right and what is wrong is decided by the doer and the watcher. This picture reminds me of school bullies or an individual being scrutinised against just for being different.

I completely agree. I'd like to do something along those lines myself. Darkness to me means something very different from evil, so I dislike it when people use dark as a metaphor for evil.

good and evil usually a state of intention. Good cross the line many times to achieve it's goal. Evil puts on a perty face and takes on victim roll

You get this concept quite a bit in literature; the lines between the "official" good, the "real" good, and their evil counterparts, aren't really clear-cut.
This might just be because I've read it most recently, but the Dresden Files showcases it rather clearly.

This brings the KKK to mind. Sad, yet interesting. I mean, white supremacy isn't cool, but it's pretty neat how art can bring stuff like that to mind. :3

I like this the characters are cute and devious at the same time. I like that the "evil" side looks innocent and the "good" side looks malevolant in the picture. Its almost like good and evil got flipped upside down but in reality one persons good is another persons evil and this picture shows that. Good luck in the competition.
