Description
Here it is.This is actually a first for me. I'll tell you why.
I usually would go straight from my pencils and just go to inks. Inking over them. I did this usually because I was doing a job, and didn't have the time or the money. It just needed to get done. So when going to conventions, and telling editors and artists that I wanted to be a penciller, well, you really don't have the pencils to show.
And honestly, I don't find myself that good of an inker. I mean, I can do my own stuff, because I plan for a certain amount of sloppiness. When I ink my own stuff, I think that there's alot of charm in it. But, inking someone else's stuff usually ends in a nightmare. I just don't feel confident when it comes to the permanent. Maybe it's my commitment issues. LOL.
Anyway, this project is a bit different, and I'm planning ahead. I have to save the pencils to show certain editors. Mainly Dan Didio, from DC. So, I want to be as professional as I can.
But, I really wanted to ink this baby. So, and I haven't tried this before, but, I just printed out my pencils on two 8X11 pieces of paper and taped them together and slapped some inks on it. It was a pretty awesome experience.
So there ya go. I'm feeling spicy, so I think I have to round out the whole thing by slapping some colors on here. But, the same thing goes for my coloring as it does for my inking.

I can tell you right now that if I owned or was HR at *any* comic company I would get you on my payroll ASAP. (unfortunately I'm still developing my business skills, long term goals are good though, haha)
I love this, the progression all along shows your dedication to your craft and hopefully someone at the conventions sees that!

Yeah..only five. And I'll have to cut down on the submissions if I'm gonna get it done in time.
I'll be posting the pages probably as I get them done. I love the helpful input from everyone.

I tried to put that in with the rug texture. I have some grey tones up and I took care of that shadow.

Thanks, man. I went a little nutty and added the film grain filter, but, hey, it's Batman, the film grain reminds me of noir, just seemed natural.
