Something I thought about doing. I noticed the male Agent 8 hasn't been getting much exposure, so I felt like I should use the male Agent 8.

So, Jane Doe is now Agent 8a, and she now has a fraternal twin, Agent 8b or John Doe. They can't be identical because they have different skin tones and genders, but there are some fraternal twins that look very similar.

And there's also this image from the trailer . I'm not sure if this will appear at all in game, though.

And although I've tried to make their story closer to Splatoon's canon, there are plenty of stories out there that are pretty close that featured two or more Agent 3's. Heroes of Inkopolis by is an example.
