I just got bored today and wanted to draw something MLP-related since it's been so long since I've done anything from it.So this references both "Rainbow Rocks" where Bulk Biceps played the violin in his one-man band, and also the Ed, Edd, n Eddy episode "Pain in the Ed" when Ed was practicing the violin and it drove Eddy insane.
I put Soarin' in Ed's position for obvious reasons
(They both voiced by the same person. )
While Bulk Biceps is just keeping a smile trying to motivate his friend, while Flash Sentry is on the ground in agony, (because for whatever reason the world hates him )

yes, he was kind of sorta a bad guy, or rather an accomplice to Sunset when she was evil, but then he had a self-realisation and switched sides on his own merits.

Alright then! Quick warning; When it comes to MLP headcanons I split them up into three groups.
Normal Canon(Pony verse)
EQG Canon
And AU Human world(in which it's basically our world)
So...with then being said; let's start with Pony Flash.
Due to him being the son of a Pegasus and an earth pony, his wing strength is then a normal Pegasus, but, in terms of hoof strength, he's much stronger than most Pegasus.
He and Soarin have been friends since they were colts, and they pushed each other alot during that time. Flash even said that if it wasn't for Soarin, he wouldn't be a royal guard.
He has been in a few relationships during his life, but most of them ended badly. Though, he never met the Pony Sunset.
When nervous, his voice starts to crack.
He and Vinyl Scratch are cousins(on his father's side) His aunt(an earth pony, married Beats, a unicorn, and had Vinyl. She likes to tease him about his crush(and later relationship) on Twilight, while he enjoys teasing her about her crush on Neon Lights. Despite this, they still get along well and act more like sibling than cousins.
Flash is deathly afraid of chimeras, due to an event that happened during his time at Flight school.

and the whole being teased because of a crush is totally me. from Middle School right up until the middle of High school.
my canon only really talks about Flash in the context of the 2 movies, so as for a back story I don't really know I just believe that First Base is his little brother, Scootaloo might be his cousin or something, and he might be related to Comet Tail.

Now then; EQG Human Flash headcanon(For certain headcanons, mostly character related ones, they don't change with the different universe)
Flash is a Kinesthetic Learner( someone who learns by doing) it's fairly hard for him to learn by any other methods.
Flash met Soarin ,Rainbow, and Fluttershy during pre k, and they have been friends ever since.
While he does love music, he wants to get into law enforcement, like his father, Boulder/Landslide Sentry(I haven't deiced on the name for his dad, yet)
When the other Twilight came to Canterlot high, He mistook her for the other Twilight, and made a fool of himself in front of her. As time passed, the two of them became close, but he felt bad because, in his mind, he was only using her, because he could have the other Twilight(ironically, Twilight felt like this with Pony Flash) But, after some more time passed, he realized he loved this Twilight.
Despite being the lead guitarist of his band, Flash can't sing. At all.(Soarin and Dash have stated his singing voice sounds like a dying mule)
After the first two movies, he and Sunset, stayed friends. He was the first person she told about her and Bulk Biceps dating.
He(and Vinyl) works at a music store called "World Round Sounds" (much too their chagrin)
He has some issues with intimacy and sex. The thought of both makes him a shaking, sweaty mess.

I'm Kinesthetic myself, and I have a hard time with relationships too.
And that's interesting with his motivations and story, and that he and Vinyl work together. Although I have heard his voice actor Vincent Tong sing, and he's actually really good.
Also, have you ever heard of the show "Package's from Planet X"? Vincent Tong voices the main character Dan who looks a lot like Flash would in the normal world. I think got some further inspiration for Flash's character from there.

Ok, so unlike the last two, something are going to be changed(nothing too major, such the thing with EQG Twilight, and what side of the family Vinyl is on)
First off; Flash is half Japanese. On his mother side. First and Vin are also half Japanese, as such the three of them can speak it perfectly. This is because Solar Flare(Flash&First mom and Vin's aunt) wanted her children to have an understand of both sides of their family, so she would teach them the learn and culture of their home Courtney.
Flash will, at times, speak or mutter something in Japanese by accident. It's only when someone ask him to repeat does he answer in English.
There was a time were he and Twilight were studying and things got a bit heated(PG-13) and his mom walked in on them, she was shocked and yelled at Flash, which turned into a semi huge shouting match 100% in japanese. After things calmed down and she left, Flash apologized and explained how he knows japanese. Twilight thought it was amazing that he still stays in touch with his culture.
Flash doesn't like to swear. The closest his come is when he got rejected at a job at a music store he really wanted to work at.
He and Dash were a thing for a time(during their freshmen and part of the sophomore year) But, they broke up mid way thought sophomore year, deciding to stay friends(Though, not before he lost his V card)
Flash met Twilight during 7th grade and was starting to develop feeling for her. When they entered high school, he heard that she and Comet Tail were dating and gave up any hope of being with her(hence why he and Dash start dating) After some time, Twi and Comet broke up, and Flash waited a bit before asking her out.
Flash is a avid gamer. He loves the Smash bros games alot. He's also very competitive when it comes to said games.
He cannot hold his liqueur to save his life. One shot of vodka and he is done.

I especially like the part with him knowing Japanese.
(especially since Flash looks asian, and Vincent Tong is asian-Canadian.)
