"Have you ever stopped to think about what they put into that grey, greasy, bloated burger you consume so eagerly on a bi-daily basis? No, of course you don't. But, I can't say I've ever thought about it too hard myself. Ignorance is bliss, so they say.

When you're living in an apartment by yourself, slaving away at trying to find the next big story to journalize about, one simply cannot afford to buy the time to painfully subject themselves to such hair-brained theories. At least, that was until recently, when I received an anonymous call one night..."

So, a friend showed me her drawing of a goofy cake monster. The more I looked at it, I was eventually overcome with the urge to make another food beast. This one takes a step back from a more H.P Lovecraft vibe and more of your standard, cheesy, (pun intended) monster movie vibe.

The small excerpt above in the quotations is a brainstorm idea of a potential short story to go with this piece - that is, if I want to commit myself to it.
