I've been working on this one a long time, but its finally done. A mithra dragoon from FFXI. If anyone's played dragoon, they'd probably recognise the checkered sweater and battle gloves. Ahhh, all too familiar with them, since dragoons have gotta wear them for so long.Drawn and inked by hand, scanned, coloured in photoshop.
Ah yeah, guess the zone and... you win a cookie.
Update: FYI I don't play FFXI at the moment... I got my dragoon to 64, got frustrated, and quit.

My DRG is fully merited at 75 with all the spiffy new gear lol my Penta cracked 3k and I have a screenshot of it x3

Man, I recently started thinking about dusting off my DRG and stuff, but then realized that I no longer have any friends on that game, and I really don't want to have to spend hours to make gil so I can buy fucking utsusemi so I can level anything.

Yea it does, and as a matter of fact, one of them is a stock site and because it was posted there as free use, I had been using it as a forum avatar for quite a while. Especially because that mithra is exactly my character.
For that I will apologize if you truly are the original artist. Had I known there was a copywrite on the image I would have surely asked permission before using it for myself. Since finding it here I have removed it from my forum and reported the person who uploaded it to the free-use site to its webmaster.
Oh, and the shadow tools have seriously gone down in price and there's been a lot of changes with the recent updates, making gil is much easier. You can even hop servers now. I myself play on the Seraph server, and have for 6yrs. I love being well known ^_^
I'd love to chat with you more about this and such on messengers if you have them. I visit this site from my Sidekick LX and it really is a pain to do anything conversation wise on it on websites like this that use flash or other unsupported software. I enjoy this drawing, Drg is ALRIGHT =x lol... my drg is lvl 50 atm. i just took a month break from ffxi. but working on maats cap. but i'd have to say this tho.. DRK>DRG anyday

OH GOD! the MEMORIES! lol.
Ultimately, I did get my Dragoon up to 75 and STACKED with just about EVERYTHING possible (yeah, I was (am) one of those FFXI DRG nuts)
But I remember those AGONIZING days, farming the 500k (each) for Sniper's Rings.
I in particular remember farming Saurmage Champaign(sp...lol) in that EXACT set. I still remember.

AF Boots + Legs
Holy Lance
and likely an Empy. Hair Pin.
Always kinda bugged me how the (my toon was) Female Elvaan's DRG AF Legs were crotchless. I was SOO happy when I got the AF2 Legs to cover all that shame.

Yeah, I wore the gloves from 14-15 whichever you get them, until 71, when you get Tarasque Mitts.
Good gloves....but enough is enough. DRGs need more mid game options for there.

lol I remeber that gear for Drg, couldn't wait till I got my char out of it, Btw love the pic of a Mithra Drg looks sexy. I'm a 75 Drg hume, would have done it on my Elf but hate how they look holding the weapon for females.
