The yellow and black is a little odd, esp since the darker yellows look a little greenish. Still, I love the massive bursts of light you have in the center, they really command my attention. Its an interesting parallel...The bees and colors I mean.

First of all - I'm seeing a lot of yes.
Second of all - NEVER, EVER, erase your work no metter how much you dislike it. It can always be fixed, recycled or used again. And it's always nice to have some stock around.
As to my thoughts on your work - Mind blowing, again! The rendering is absolutely amazing. So crisp & smooth. Love the detailed 2d work. Although, I don't like the blurred bits. Everything else is in focus - kinda takes away from the pic. The detail you have gone to makes my head hurt. If I was to produce something like that it would taken a year.
Once again, supremely impressive stuff. I have to go thank ajax again!

I like how the model seems to mirror itself..makes it seem complex, yet simple in a way (if that makes sense). the 2d is fitting, but it looks too over done in my opinion. other then that it's a nice piece.
