This is pretty old, I think around 2016?So--- I'm a HUGE freaking fan of Metroid okay
and... I may or may not have developed an attraction to the Chozo race. So I came up with a very short AU self insert story where-- Cloud is a anthropomorphic fox species in the Metroid universe, orphaned after his family (residing on that planet) had been wiped by corrupted creatures. A lone Chozo soldier saved him from the insatiably hungry beasts, and clothes the young Cloud with his only robe, taking him under his wing (heh) to train him.
I guess you can say the story's pretty damn similar to Samus Aran's backstory, but I guess there's this side of me that just romanticizes with the idea of being innocent and helpless, but taken care of by someone stronger, with authority, and has a strong fatherly figure >w< so I couldn't resist honestly!
These two were drawn separately as a sequence of images, but-- it was hard to put them side by side in comic format since it would have looked weird with Cloud seemingly facing the opposite direction? So I decided to just throw them both in one in a way that hopefully gives a better idea of what's going on and in what order!
Cloud and art belongs to me (and I suppose the Chozo fellow, although I don't have any concepts or even a name for him yet!)
