It's currently storming where I live, so of course I had to play "To be a warlock" and sketch my favourite stormcaller.

Caith-18 has changed quite a bit from his first design, and I have to say he's a much better character now than he was. He has reasons for his distrust and distance from the tower, and a reason to draw him away from those things.

Caith was a pretty normal guardian despite his intrest in the Hive for the years he was with the tower. He met a good friend who was Hive touched, and felt content there for awhile. Then, soon after oryx fell, he and a fireteam of newer guardians were sent on a recon mission on the dreadnought went to hell. Everything was pretty normal, although he did find a strange artifact which he kept. It wasn't until they disturbed a ritual that the hive overwhelmed them. He lost the two other guardians, and barely escaped the chamber of conflict with his life. He found painful solace tucked away in the worm's caverns, bleeding and without much will. Then, the artifact whispered to him. Sohlyût, a pre-hive wizard drew hate from him, and convinced him to make a pact with a worm himself. His pact was to obtain knowledge, and it is something he does not regret even to this day.
After the pact, he finds a coven of sisters, wizards who had upset the tithing and paid for it, and became their higher power. He leads them for a very long while, until his pact forces him to upset the tithing process himself, and causes him to be punished amd exiled by one higher on the chain. He is found by the Hive touched friend, Kyla, eventually, cast out and worn down. He doesn't return to the tower much, but acts more like an outside power, still protecting his ideals while satisfying his pact.
