Cute little segment I drew at church. I've grown to like Deanna Troi. She's quite smart...I never really got passed the physical sense of her. She seemed to be everyone's affection; Data's, Worf's, Riker's, and even Picard's. The Space Slut. Now I just see her as someone everyone can talk to and be close to. Kinda like Matt and I. Nothing romantic, just really close. I respect that in Troi. Riker gave off the same vibes...now I see (took me eight years) that he only cares for Troi. He's not the Space Stud. Heh heh.I love how Data attracts the younger ones. It's adorable. =^_^= Timothy's one of my favorites. Worf's the other.

I think Data gets along with kids because he's kind of like a kid in that he doesn't understand things the same way others do. It's what makes him adorable.

Riker and Troi have always been my fav couple ..IN SPACE! lol but yah! <3 I love Data almost as much; this is precious! may I ask.. what kind of medium do you use? Special markers? The computer? How do you get everything so even and perfect?

Oh dear gawd. That was so long ago. Well, how I USED to do it was using a sketch book and mechanical pencil, then I'd scan, then I'd use PaintShopPro. NOW I have a Wacom tablet from and I just bought Photoshop CS5 student edition. How I learned to use computer programs was from this site. There's lots of tutorials, some of which are in my favourites, if you need them. Any of my work from the past I look at now and think is crap, so I guess what I'm saying is "even and perfect" comes from practice...but after you keep practicing and evolving, you become better and better.
So don't give up! Just keep working at it! Your muscles and your brain will remember those skills the more you practice. Like martial arts.

I REALLY need to get one of those tablets if I want things to look any good in color. I usually just use graphite, but I'm hoping to get some Copic markers for my birthday. I hear they work really well. I also need to try paintshop. Thanks so much for the tips, because I've been seeing all these great color jobs on DA, and it was killing me not knowing how everyone seemed to be doing it, except me! Thanks so much!!!!!! And, just to say again, I LOVE your stuff!

My problem were those stupid outfits she had to wear. As soon as she started wearing the Starfleet uniform I could take her more seriously. That one were she had to pretend to be a Romulan was a bloody good episode.

Ooooooh...I remember that! Despite her "nympho-looks" compared to Dr. Crusher's "intel-looks," she actually pulled off a good, deceptive player for Starfleet, and the Captain's crew.
