i got 8oo pageviews... well its over 800 now..more like 824 but you know :/ i had problems with this drawing for example ive been a bit depressed and also i had to use two different pens that were two different blues... that pissed me off alot and possibly made me cry three times.... but anyway i used a drawing of another Dartist octopuss for a quick reference because i completely forgot what that eight legged thing should look like... ill link her here: [link]and that is all... besides from im not proud of this octopuss >

edit: i have over 1000 views and around 45 watchers who are some of the most interesting people and underappreciated artists
all of them have commented and showed their love and support for my art and made me feel proud of myself. i can now make something and feel accomplished you guys have helped me more than you know

Even if you can't see all of the beautiful merit the simple fact that you placed time & effort into make it worthy of appreciation, I don't just comment my amazing comments on any old piece!
I'm sorry to hear about friend, I have battled those demons. They aren't easy but it sounds like he/she has a wonderful friend in you & that can make all the difference! If I had been around people who drew me super awesome octopi I think I would have broken free of my depression a lot sooner!

i like being able to draw because i can drawbeautiful things that only exist in my mind but people only judge my outside, because they dont understand how i think.also i am not good with helping people with depression when i keep falling back so art is my safety.

me too, my improvement started when i got told to stop drawing manga/anime.... i think thats when i discovered i suck at manga/anime and started drawing my own things.. its also when i discovered i suck at writing stories.

Don't be so harsh on yourself! I think this is absolutely fine pen work and the different blues which I can't even tell gives it even more tonal blues making the piece more interesting I think
