Description
Here, Artie is donating his time to help out Candace from Phineas & Ferb who shares her honest feelings and personal issues about her role and with Disney that she couldn't tell anyone about.
: All my life, all I wanted to do was to perform before a world wide audience. Showing them what I can do that would make them laugh, cry, and cheer. I wanted to be somebody, who could really make it big, make an impact….and make a difference. But instead, that all led me to was a path of anxiety and humiliation.
Don’t get me wrong, love the place I work, I just hate the people in charge. I mean, It’s bad enough they squander my talent by putting me in a kid’s show, but a show with the same process in every episode. Phineas and Ferb get inspired, Perry disappears, I catch the boys building something, I fetch Mom, the thing disappears as soon as she arrives, and the boys get away scot-free, Perry reappears, end of episode. Sigh! I can’t believe how gullible I signed up for the cast. I just wasn’t cut out to play some neurotic nark. I mean, A little part of me dies a little inside when I have to do stuff like that.
Another thing I hate most about my role, is that everyone views me as this “crazy, two dimensional, evil big sister character.” I’m much more than that. But when you’ve got the same role I have, people tend to get all judgmental and become less interested in what you have to say and assume the same material from the show.
I’m also pretty sure, I’m not the only one who’s had it rough while in the Disney Channel. Some of them were actually my friends…very TALENTED friends who worked in the Disney Channel, only to have their shows unceremoniously cancelled. Dave the Barbarian really sold that “Cowardly Big guy” pretty well until his show got canned for who knows why. Kuzco had awesomely vain material, and his show would’ve been big if it wasn’t replaced by what could’ve been one of Disney’s long line of bad sitcoms. And Brandy Harrington, now there was a girl who worked her tail off to get better during her show’s run. But it only led to a call from the head saying *In a Mocking executive voice* “Hey Kid, it’s a budget thing. Best of Luck in your future endeavors.” What do those studio empty suits know about talent?
I just can’t get everything anymore. I try to, but I can’t. I work as heard as the other characters in the studio, I sing well, I have a witty sense of humor, I do my own stunts. But, no matter how many times I prove how good I am, I’m always denied opportunities. I just wish there was more to my life than this, or at least there was someplace better than Disney who recognises my talent, otherwise I’ll spend the rest of my days whining and weeping in my room after shooting another god-awful episode!
Sigh! Basically, Artie....I just feel that no matter what I do…..I’m always held down.
Candace Flynn Belongs to Disney

Oh, I'm sorry. I've completely forgotten.
On the bright side, I've made a much more interesting plot of Artie redeeming Ominous' Henchmen, Madelyn and her Sidekick Rip-tile.

Kitty: Well, the fact that they never use me for anything on "TUFF Puppy" other than to be the butt of every Goddamn joke on the show. And whenever I DO get a chance to save the day, Dudley usually steals my chance, and keeps using me as his bondage slave. Sure, he's had a few moments where he was actually helpful, but most of the time, he just hogs all the glory for himself, while I end up getting treated like crap. The other characters were just as awful. The Chief is nothing but a slave-driver to me, and he cared more about food than his own agents. Keswick is just a sniveling brown-noser who keeps stating the obvious. Snaptrap is a homosexual momma's boy. The Chameleon is just a creep. Birdbrain's okay, but his henchmen suck. Jack's a complete jerk. Larry's a lame nerd stereotype. Ollie's a lame British stereotype. Francisco's a lame Chicago stereotype. And, do I even need to say anything about Quacky and the Sharing Moose? They're all just a bunch of sweaty pigs and midgets. It seems all I'm good for is just standing there looking pretty. They never let me do anything! All the fans think I am is a boring, one-dimensional, no-fun-loving Miss Perfect. Why can't they let me do anything on the show?

Candace, without you the show would mean nothing to me, and you're what keeps me from changing the channel. I never would have started watching it if it weren't for you.

: Awww, How sweet of you to say that.
Yeah, I agree with you. In fact, I often wish could fast forward the scenes with Phineas, Ferb and the Kids, so that I can skip to the Candace, Perry and Doofenshmirtz scenes. To me, Those guys make the show worth watching.

Yeah, I Know.
Well at least someone is listening to her troubles. Considering that Artie too was a victim of unfair humiliation.
Too be honest, I think Candace would make a great Breakout Star (and not just on the Phineas & Ferb show too. )

It's that busting addiction, it's self-sabotage. It's that compulsion that drives everything Candace does and what makes her a psychiatrists' dream case, or worst nightmare, depending on her mood.
That and the show's formula requires Candace and Dr. Doofenshmirtz have to do most of the comedic heavy lifting, since Phineas mostly gives exposition and Ferb and Perry don't talk.

Doesn't help too that the show runs a formulaic plot, which is intentional, but they don't push for anything beyond that.

I don't think Candace is a failure at all. She, in my opinion is the funniest and best character in the show.
Granted when the show stareactions ple hate her, but as time went by, their have been more people who love Candace for who she is.
There are people who lover her funny moments and even her busting moments.
There are people who who love her music.
And yes thier are people who love her busting habits. That is a part of her character and her reactions and payoff works.
I don't think she is at all treated like a butt monkey in the show like what they do to Meg Griffen in Family Guy.
Plus I don't think Dan and Swampy(or the rest of the PnF staff for that matter) as they tend to take care of the characters they create and not treat them like a punching bag. Heck even Aliki Grafft loves Candace and loves writing Candace in rhe episodes she works on. Seriously go check out any PnF episode that has Aliki Gtafft as the writer. If their is a writer on the show that can write Candace well, it's her.
Plus I do think that Candace have made several accomplishments during the show.
She got her Learner's permit.
She got the boy of her dreams.
She admitted to the world that she loves Ducky Mono in front of many people to face of an entire convention.
And she has her brothers and her friends that she can rely on or if they rely on her. (Yeah she will still try to bust them but I am okau with it cause that is part of her character and every time she goes in full busting mode I enjoy every minute of it and it puts a smile on my face.)
Sadly their are people who really don't see that and consider her one of the worst characters ever and that is not true cause they overlooked why so many people including myself enjoy this character to this very day.
Phineas and Ferb is still a great show and my eyes and I enjoy it the more I watch it and Candace and her character, her humorous moments, her singing and her determination to never give up is one of the many reasons why I still enjoy the show to this very day.
Also I lime the drawing. Great Job.

Yeah, those are all good points you've made.
Candace's obsession really does make her an entertaining character. And yet she's made so many accomplishments that people can relate to.
Thanks btw. ^^

maxvision92 In reply to BreakoutForever [2014-05-13 11:59:05 +0000 UTC]
It's only becoming tiresome because after like 6 years, they're starting to run out of things to do with the formulas. They've had just about everyone say them, they've cut away before he can finish inquiring about the whereabouts of his platypus. But that's not really my point.
My point is, where do you think that zebra came from?

022288knarrow In reply to maxvision92 [2014-05-13 17:19:01 +0000 UTC]
Personally I don't think it has become tiresome. Mostly because I don't have a problem with repetition.
As for running out of things with the formula, I don't know the newer episodes show that they still got ideas when it comes to the formula but that is just my opinion.

Yeah that's was pises me off.all she's try to do is the right by telling her mother that those two are doing something there not suppose to but in the end she always getting hurt not just by Karma of the show but also getting beat up the lil sister of the guy she likes! Seriously that's why I lost interest in the show, still I watched for can dance.
