Description
A few sketches of the ruthless and cunning super villain of Breakout Stars.As well as adding new designs to the costume, I decided to slip in some flamoyant arrogance to the characters personality to reflect on Tim Curry and Vincent Price characters like Drake from Pebble and the Penguin, and Ratigan from Basil, the Great Mouse Detective.

You've done well with Dominous's design and his expressions. He's like a fine tribute to all masked space conquerors like Darth Vader, Darth Malak, Zurg and Dr. Killemoff.

You know, I can visualise Dominous having Rodger Bumpass's Dr. Killemoff demonic robot-like voice. I think it would fit well with the character's smug but commanding personality. ^^

These are pretty cool poses for Dominous, Kev.
I like his plotting pose, his pondering pose, his dazed pose, and his rage pose.
My favorite's the one where he's pointing. He's like "Attack, my mutant henchmen!"

Say Kev, one long-forgotten character Dominous reminds me of is Mr. Dark from Rayman 1. I know he hasn't been seen since then, aside from being somewhat involved in Rayman Origins, his personality fits Dominous' dark and mysterious nature perfectly.

Yep! BTW, I'm thinking that in addition of making not only his face a mystery, but his species as well. For instance, when he lowers his mouth visor, he could have a long reptilian tongue to show that he's definitely not human.

Say, I got a question for Dominous. How would you compare himself to the likes of every other super villain to this day?

Dominous: Well, for starters, I'm not like those openly insecure amateurs like Verminious Snaptrap, Dr. Doofenshmirtz or Lord Hater. And Unlike Discord, I'm not some stupid mutant who's constantly dependent on cheap gags and props to get attention. I'm the kind of villain that everyone misses. When in action, I'm ruthless, smug, cold and calculating. But when I'm not battling Delta Lyle and her interfering friends, terrorising planets or torturing prisoners, I'm generally a man of class. An elegant man who enjoy's the sophisticated things in life. Artwork, Architecture, priceless jewellery, music. Even before my..."Unfortunate accident" I still enjoyed most of those things.

Dominous: Hmmm. How shall I torture my prisoners today....Hmmm. I know! I can roast them over the lava craters of Mustafar! Put them in a colosseum filled with carnivorous Tyannazoids! Or.... I'll force them to watch Seasons 4 to 9 of Spongebob Squarepants! Yes, That would be evil indeed!

Yeah, that's a possibility. But I can imagine his voice being provided by Rodger Bumpass who played Dr. Killemoff, the main villain from Toxic Crusaders.
