Description
Some sketches for the Deuteragonist of the story of this supermodel character. breakoutkid.deviantart.com/art…A neurotic but friendly English Photographer who works at the city newspaper who befriends the model while in her receptionist persona but later learns about the model's previous identity and intention of getting back at those who ruined her.
His design is reminiscent of my other OC, Artie Bradfield, but is made into a more charmingly awkward leading male. His casual/formal look and glasses is a take on the Doctor Who played by Matt Smith s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/7… and Peter Parker from the Amazing Spider-man played by Andrew Garfield. prometheanplayground.files.wor… The character himself is inspired by Superman's Jimmy Olsen, Spider-man's Peter Parker and Hergé's Tintin.
Now for the name, I've come up with a couple of possibilities. "Callum Metcalfe"and "James Thames", after the River Thames of London England.
I've also thought of some ideas for the Models name. A stage name titled "Tina Trend", and a real name "Debra Burchard", named after Petra Burchard, the English Dub Actress of Tenchi Muyo's Ryoko.
Constructive criticism is encouraged, and ixnay on the harsh offensive remarks.

I dunno. The Glasses? The formal geeky look? The Camera? It's a mystery.
Yeah, he'd probably be Debra's voice of reason.

Nice design, I picked up on the similarity to Andrew Garfield and Jimmy Olsen right away.
I created a photographer OC, too a while back.

No problem. ^^
Thank you, kindly. It's okay, though. I'm kinda used to my own obscurity.

Yeah, I AM getting a Peter Parker vibe from this guy. And, I bet his charming awkwardness would be a neat contrast to the model's high class style.
So, I say good one, Kev. ^^

Yeah.
Plus they could learn from each other as the story progresses. She could teach him to be more assertive and enjoy life a little more than work, while he could teach her how to be more considerate and nicer to people. ^^
You know, I don't know whether to set it in present day or the 80s. Somehow the 80s felt more like the appropriate time for romantic comedies. On he other hand, the present day has technological advances and social media.

Good point.
Yeah, that seems like a really tough decision as to which time period to set this in. I'm not even sure myself, to be honest.

Ah, well. As long as newspapers and tv exist in the story.
