A photo of my beloved dog who Sadly passed away today.Blue was about 16 and a half years of age and over the past couple of months, he was unfortunately getting old, weak, confused and feeling pain. So me and my family took him to the vet where he was put to sleep. As I saw him laying down on the table, I fell to pieces along with my mother, father and sister.
My family and I will miss wee Blue, but we felt it was his time and We didn't want him to suffer. I still feel terrible for the poor dog, but at least we've given him a wonderful life full of tender love and care. And most of all, He will live on in our memories.
RIP Blue (2001 - 2017)

I know how you feel, my dog Shana, who had been with me since i was born, had to be put down for similar reasons two years ago about a week after my 15th birthday, she was about the same age as Blue was. 2015 was probably the worst year of my life for the fact that i lost my best friend, i still get teary eye'd when i think about her, hell writing all of this down is getting the water works going. She was my best friend and i didn't say goodbye because i was nervous around the vet guy.

Well, I apologise for what you went through with your dog.
You know, when I was I at the vet that day, I couldn't bear to see the ejection, so I walk out the room to wait. But I came back in a minute later, just in time to see him lay on the table. Me, my sister, my mother and my father gathered around him in tears, held him and said our goodbyes.
It might've been the been the best thing we could do for the old dog, but it was one of the most painfully sad experiences I ever had to face.

oh man, I hate it when a pet dies. When I lost my dog Max in my 20s it broke me. At lease Blue isn't suffering anymore and he's looking over you.

My previous dog died 2 years ago when i was on vacation in Georgia on Kaukaz. She just lay one day on floor and don't get up. Few minutes later she was dead. It was English Cocker Spaniel. We has her from 2003. :c

She was great family member. Very friendly. Now we have again English Cocker Spaniel. This time is a male. He is also very friendly and crazy. Sometimes he don't want listen us but we still love him.
