Mmmhmmm.... I live in a good-sized city, so you THINK finding other anime enthusiasts wouldn't be a problem.... but I'm surrounded by the hood part of town, kind of.... It's weird. And I don't know how to look up other otaku in my area.
I don't really go to cons either. I can be patient with traffic, but I can't stand traffic around major events like that. Ugh....

That's what I mean they made him into a lame ass nerd with a fan fixation on Spider-Man which is bullshit.
You know what is sad? They made a porn version of Spider-Man a while back with Electro as the main villain. They did the origin shot for shot from the original 1960s comics, gave him a costume exactly like the comic version and it looked awesome. It's pretty fucking sad when a porn movie out does a big budget film for costume and writing

Yes and every character they have in the porn looks exactly like the characters from the comics. They even did B-level support characters like Betty Brant and Joe Robertson at the Daily Bugle.
I mostly blame Fox because every character they optioned from Marvel they screwed up. They started out strong with Blade but then ruined that series with Blade Trinity. They screwed up the Amazing Spider-Man reboot and this new Fantastic Four movie looks like shit.
I know, they need to get away from adapting the "Ultimate Universe" comics and adapt the original mainstream comics. Like the Marvel Daredevil series on Netflix is perfect. It's written seriously, the action scenes are brutal and fun to watch and the story is based on Frank Miller's Man Without Fear limited series that shows Daredevil's origin. I am dying for it to come out on DVD.

But yes I highly recommend Daredevil on Netflix. The entire first season is up. It's 13 episodes and they already commissioned a second season.
Pretty much. Daredevil is one of the big bad asses of Marvel when it comes to the street level heroes. The fight scenes in the show are amazing.
