Description
In 1843, the Viceroy of Ashenwood was deposed by an Elven rebellion led by the mage Aymon Wyledel Drusus, who still practiced magic nearly 150 years after its prohibition. At the start of the uprising, almost half of the only legion stationed in Ashenwood were killed in a magical explosion. The two legions stationed in Vilarii would be ordered to march into Ashenwood. After a year-long campaign, the rebellion was crushed, and Aymon Wyledel was forced to retreat to the ancient fort of Ilen'hel. After a short siege, the Ilen'hel was torched, and Aymon Wyledel died in the fire.
