well i usually say ‘je suis un poisson’ when i desperately need to introduce myself as a fish, but ‘i am the fish’ sounds so much betterand my french isnt quite as basic as i say it is, i do know some simple stuff and other phrases like ‘mon petit chou’ which translates to my little cabbage, which im guessing sounds more endearing in french
i also know how to say butt in french

Strangely enough my brothers nickname is Seabass so we call him Da Fish. Origin of nickname Sebastien --> Sebas --> Seabass and so on
