This is actually an 'older' piece that I've just haven't got around to upload.
I love the colors - the mix between blue and pink/purple.

i like how a several of your pieces don't show faces, where it could be anyone or it could be representative of these figures not knowing their identity either. rather mysterious.
the duality of the figure is quite interesting. it's like she's the personification of a yin and yang at odds with each other while they make attempts to become the dominate, all consuming force (as i gathered from the flames). however, within that there remains peace because of the standstill opposition of two varying energies, which is represented by the dove (while it also seems hopeful). i also like how the duality doesn't stop with the figure, but stretches out into the surroundings to show the contrasting influences. it sort shows how she is one with the world around her or that these forces are also found in nature.
in another way it could also be the various elements of nature coming together to form an entity to epitomize all their best qualities to create a guardian to watch over the forest that becomes a mystic legend, hence the symbols in the work.
