You're shaking. She observed to her outstreched hands.
"Then what do you expect us to do? We cannot-"
"Kill her! She has done nothing but made chaos!"
A chorus of agreement.
Stop shaking. She pleaded, urging her body to fall still.
"Kill her! Kill her now!"
A chant echoed throughout the hungry family, revenge driven demons.
And their attack came just as swift as their decisions.
Stop shaking. She repeated, more forcibly, angrier.
The electricity whipped around her, a shield, protecting her from nimble fingers and sharp blades.
Ten down on her left.
Nine down on her right.
Stop shaking or... She trailed off, into oblivion.
The deaths of their siblings only increased their urgency; the bodies did nothing to sate the lust.
One managed to touch her hair before his muscles jumped and slackened and he fell back.
Seventeen more down. Body count was thirty six now.
Or... She could still think of nothing. The deaths were ruining her sanity.
Last hopes engaged, men and women fighting for unexpected heartache.
Daggers and swords came faster, a flurry of motion, and then... silence.
Body count was forty nine now. Everyone.

Lyric awoke with gasps and tears. She was panting heavily, hands shaking again. Furiously she scrubbed the evidence from her face, sitting up. If only her pack could see her now. Ms. Emotionless showing something. The thought encouraged a dry chuckle.
