Try as you might to wear her down, energy is the one thing it seems that Sunheart will never run out of, always ready to go at a moments notice, even if she does have her lazy moments. Even when sleepy she still seems to hold plenty of energy, taking unnecessary leaps and bounds when she walks from time to time. She has no problem staying up the latest only to wake up earlier than everyone else- even if she ends up being a bit out of it for doing so.

The last thing you want to do is get in between her and her clan-mates or someone she cares about, because she will be quick to turn vicious and violent in order to keep them safe. So much as threaten those she cares for and you'll find yourself on the receiving end of a sharp tongue and even sharper fangs. Sunheart loves to snuggle up to her loved ones, having absolutely no problem with sharing her personal space and invading theirs. It's always been a obvious trait of her's, from her constant nuzzling of her mentor, Quailfrost to playful fights with her siblings, and she has a general love of curling up next to a close friend or family member. It's also not uncommon for her to randomly bring a gift to someone she's on good terms with.

Innocent Blood

Sunkit was born alongside her brother, Smokekit, as the second litter to a pair of warriors named Sunpetal and Shadowfoot. While the first two moons of their life involved mostly snuggling up to their mother and battling each other for the best spot beside their father when he came to visit, it was a good two moons, filled with lots of running, jumping, stumbling and tackling.. not to mention plenty of high pitched squeals from the two kittens. Their two brother and older sister from a previous litter also stopped by quite a bit to play with the little ones, Flashfang in particular taking a liking to the little ones and often shooing their mom out of the nursery for some fresh air while she stayed to keep the kittens company, often wrestling with Sunkit while Smokekit stayed back and out of the path of destruction to watch in amusement.
However, after those two moons, war broke out between the clans due to a Windclan cat named Paleheart, who attempted to slaughter the leaders of the clans and take over the area as his own. With all of Windclan taking the blame, they were attacked mercilessly by River, Thunder and Shadow alike. Sunnkit hid behind her mother, along with Smokekit and the others in the nursery when the clans invaded their camp. When a dark figure- to swift for the tiny kitten to see properly- moved into the nursery, she had assumed it to be her father or siblings, and ran out to him, only to end up nearly crushed under a large, claw riddled paw. Sunpetal came to her daughters rescue in a flash, voice loud and claws furious as she tackled the Thunderclan cat away from her daughter. The scuffle was brief but vicious and ended in the death of both cats while the pair of kits looked on in horror. When another strange feline entered- likely hearing the commotion- it was clear what their intentions were, but their plans were quickly halted when a black and white pelt wizzed by, attacking the intruder.. but their Savior wasn't a Windclanner.. it was a Shadowclan cat, named Badgerstripe.

What happened after that was a blur- all she knew was that the war had ended and all the clans would be living together at the Gathering grounds until each clan's camp had been properly restored. In that time she, along with Smokekit tired to find her father and older siblings, but in the chaos of it all they simply couldn't. However, a familiar black and white pelt approached little Sunnkit and her brother, it was Badgerstripe, the Shadowclan warrior that had saved them back in the nursery. He took it upon himself to watch over the pair and make sure they stayed fed and sheltered in all the chaos.
When the time came for the clans to return to their own lands, Badgerstripe went to Flamestar, Windclan leader at the time, to ask for custody over the kittens, seeing as by this time he'd learned both their parents had been killed in battle, and he'd grown rather fond of the two. Not really knowing anyone other than their siblings from Windclan, Sunnkit and her brother didn't put up much of a fuss about, and Smokekit even seemed a bit excited with the idea of seeing Shadowclan.
It was eventually agreed that Badgerstripe could keep the kittens, under the condition that when they came of age to be trained, he would send them back to their rightful home in Windclan. When the pair arrived in the dark forests of Shadowclan, they found that the cats were less hostile than anticipated, though the kittens were avoided, Sun didn't seem to notice, while Smoke pointed out that they were doing so out of guilt- that it was because of them and the other clans they lost their parents so now they were feeling bad about it. Shrugging it off, Sunnkit dragged her brother around camp, learning the ins and outs of life in Shadowclan. It came to and end all too soon when they grew to apprentices, and Badgerstripe reluctantly took the two to meet Flamestar at the border, where they were taken back to Windlcan- but not before the warrior had gotten to teach them a little bit of Shadowclan fighting and hunting.

APPRENTICE

Circle of Friends

Back in Windclan, Sunpaw and her brother were greeting by an onslaught of nuzzles and licks on the head by their older siblings, and while Diamond was more than happy to oblige them, Smokepaw tried ( and failed ) to escape the three cat horde that surrounded them.
It was back to Windclan, that familiar ground with exactly three familiar faces and three new ones that Sunpaw was eager to meet. Her first encounter with an apprentice that wasn't Smokepaw was Lionpaw, a grouchy young tom who, at first, wanted absolutely nothing to do with her. However, being as persistent as she was, she kept trying to befriend him, eventually learning the main cause of his constant bad mood to be his sibling, Cedarpaw. The pair came up with a plan- she would befriend the tom and try to find weaknesses for Lionpaw to exploit. After that the two began to grow closer, Lionpaw softening and Sun toning down a little on her usual hyperness. They could often be found together, but their plan was starting to work a little too well, with Cedarpaw starting to take an interest in the cream colored feline. Next came Wolfpaw, a charming little tom with a friendly personality, a welcome relief from the constant broodiness that seemed to accompany her other friend. The two got along rather well, though perhaps a bit too well, as Wolfpaw seemed to become more interested in her romantically a little too soon for her to handle, causing her to hang around him less and less over time. In turn, she met a dark pelted tom, much smaller than she, who seemed to want nothing other than to be left alone. After a little pestering, she found his name to be Ebonypaw, and when she wasn't with Lionpaw, she found herself curled up beside the dark tom, sharing stories of her 'adventures' and time at Shadowclan with her brother. Through her, Lionpaw and Ebonypaw became friends, and the trio began to hang out more often with one another.

The Darker it is the Harsher the Light

As Leaf-bare came, Lionpaw invited her out hunting, where they caught a bluejay- the tom offering her one of the feathers, which she happily accepted. Unfortunately a snowstorm caught the two apprentices while they were out, and in spite of their attempts to hurry back to camp, they were forced to burrow into the snow to ride out the storm. However, Cedarpaw found them, and very nearly buried them alive. Sunpaw was furious and clawed her way out through the snow, snagging hold of the offending tom's paw before letting go to catch the second paw being swung at her, knocking the tom off balance. It wasn't long before she was on top of Cedarpaw with her claws at his throat. The cream apprentice turned to help her clan-mate out of the snow, and the pair hid the evidence of the rather.. unfortunate dispute. Only Sunpaw and Lionpaw would be returning to camp that day.

WARRIOR

With Love Comes Chaos

It was after their vigil that the newly named Lionflame asked her to be his mate, to which she happily agreed. In a few moons, Sunheart found herself expecting kittens, both parents were thrilled to say the least. Wolfpaw, now known as Wolfmoon, on the other hand, was more upset than anything when he heard the news, even going so far as to lure Lionflame out of camp to attack him, and while she didn't get the full story, the Queen was furious, and relinquished all ties with the white pelted tom, refusing to so much as speak to him. Just a moon later Wolfmoon met his end by the Ebonystom's paws, and though it was called a tragic accident, the she-cat felt as though that may not have been the case. For a time, there was a relative peace, with easy life at camp now that she was heavy with kits. However, when her kits were born, the clan was in shock to find that one was an albino, who dangerously resembled Paleheart, the traitor, and with roots to him on Lionflame's side, the clan was a little on edge to say the least. Even so, this little kitten, named Icekit, was accepted by the clan, but word got out, and the other clans were less than pleased, starting border disputes that grew more and more frequent, more and more violent, until it was an all out war.

Windclan struggled, losing cats and trying desperately to hang on to it's territory, though the war was swiftly brought to an end when a series of unending storms rolled into the territories. Many cats believed it to be a result of angering Starclan, and Sunheart had little doubt about this. During this time of heavy rain, there were floods. It was while out patrolling in this weather that Lionflame became lost, leaving Sun to care for her two kittens alone, though it was not long before they would become apprentices. Her mate remained missing for moons, and when Eaglekit became an apprentice, he fled the clan, for reasons unknown. Sunheart was in turmoil during this time, and as was the land. Eventually the flooding forced the clans to come to a decision, they had to leave. While hesitant to do so since she had no idea if her mate or kit were dead or alive, she did follow Windclan to it's new home, Ebonystorm keeping her company along the way.

A Heart not of Gold, but of Diamond

It was in this new home that the she-cat came to realize that her son had survived just fine, having earned his warrior name in Riverclan, though her daughter seemed to grow more distant. Just as the clan was settling down, a new cat arrived, having stumbled upon their camp she guessed. However, it was only moments later that this cat proved to be her mate, Lionflame, who had not only survived the storm but managed to find them as well. Sunheart was thrilled, though the tom seemed much less so. It was after Lionflame was named deputy that she found herself growing further and further from him- she never got the chance to speak with him anymore, and he had become all work and no play, still though, she tried to get a moment with him whenever she could.

It was upon meeting with her son, Eaglestrike, at the new borders between Wind and River that she discovered there was a few new kits in Riverclan, not all of which were of Riverclan decent. It took some time, but the warrior eventually discovered that at least one of the kits, Tigerkit, was Lionflame's offspring. Sunheart was simultaneously furious and heartbroken when she returned to camp, only to be met by Icefall and Lionflame. The pair told her of their intentions, to leave the clan, find a new place and start anew, but after what she'd learned, she refused, stalking off to the warrior's den as the cats that were one her family- her daughter and her mate- left for good.

For a long time the cream feline did nothing but spend her time in camp, keeping to herself with the exception of hunts and border patrols. Ebonystorm approached her, the two being long time friends at this point. He seemed to know she was in desperate need of company, for someone she knew to let her know that they were still there with her, so that she wouldn't feel alone. The usually grouchy tom kept a shockingly upbeat attitude, at least for him, and was constantly trying to talk to Sunheart, to cheer her up in any way possible, even getting into playful fights with her- something that was terribly out of character for him. Eventually the two had a serious discussion about how she was doing, which ended with Sun in tears and the dark tom offering her what comfort her could. From there she improved, and while it took a few moons, the she-cat was back to her normal, cheerful self. If anything she was even more joyful than when she'd been with Lionflame. That's when she realized she may very well be falling for the cat she called her best friend.

To Be Lost Yet Found

It was when the two were out hunting together before a storm that it unexpectedly swept in- the pair having not anticipated it's arrival so soon. It wasn't enough for any serious flooding, but the rain was heavy and loud, obscuring landmarks and scent trails from view, rending the two completely lost in the storm. She even found herself losing sight of Ebonystorm, multiple times, and if it weren't for his ability to spot her brightly colored pelt, the two would've gotten separated, but as it was, the two stuck together. When the storm finally let up, they were soaked and in completely different territory. Continuing on, not sure which way to go,they eventually stumble across something vaguely familiar.
It was then Ebony and herself figured out where they had ended up. They were home, in a manner of speaking, Concerned about going back to a Windclan that wouldn't recognize her, she and the tom agreed to start a new life in Skyclan.

Fighting Tactics:
Woe is the unwary cat who invokes Sunheart's wrath, for this feline is known for her swift and agile game of "tag", constantly darting in and out of her opponents striking range to disorient and unbalance them. She often does this to disorient and slowly ware down her opponent, as well as to avoid taking too many direct hits to her fragile frame. It's not uncommon for her to strike at the opponent's flank or forepaws to try and unbalance them before darting away.

Waiting for Juniperclaw to make his way up, and visibly sighing in relief when he made it up safely, she followed, only instead of using a tree she climbed up using the rocks. Hopping from small boulder to small boulder which lined the now steep trail, she made once last bound, pulling herself up onto the ledge and shaking her pelt. She felt more confident climbing the rocks than a tree, rocks just seemed more stable than branches to her.

"Ah.. there we go." Mistblossom chuckled with a bright smile. "Don't worry, I'll get us home... and.. as far as that hill goes.. it was never that steep. I suspect the melt waters are at fault." Taking in a deep breath, the pale feline cast her gaze skyward, the clouds and sky were painted with hues of gold, red and several other vibrant colors that blended together in perfection. It was sunset, and looking away from the cliff face, not far off was a clearing with a lake, reflecting the wonderful colors with faint yellow specks blinking here and there above it's surface. Fireflies.

Mistblossom's eyes light up as she looked at Star Lake. The grasses were still a soft, lush green. Frogs could be heard chirping occasionally and a few earlier blooms were scattered about the area in a complimentary way. "Welcome to Star Lake, Juniperclaw." Purred the she-cat happily as she began to make her way towards the large body of water.

Due to several past events throughout her life, she now finds it rather difficult to fully open up to someone upon meeting them, and while she's still quite friendly, it in no way means she trusts those she is interacting with. Sunheart is especially suspicious of strangers, unwilling to really believe the things they say or do until they can prove themselves worthy of her trust, though she'll still remain generally friendly.

Innocent Blood

Sunkit was born alongside her brother, Smokekit, as the second litter to a pair of warriors named Sunpetal and Shadowfoot. While the first two moons of their life involved mostly snuggling up to their mother and battling each other for the best spot beside their father when he came to visit, it was a good two moons, filled with lots of running, jumping, stumbling and tackling.. not to mention plenty of high pitched squeals from the two kittens. Their two brother and older sister from a previous litter also stopped by quite a bit to play with the little ones, Flashfang in particular taking a liking to the little ones and often shooing their mom out of the nursery for some fresh air while she stayed to keep the kittens company, often wrestling with Sunkit while Smokekit stayed back and out of the path of destruction to watch in amusement.
However, after those two moons, war broke out between the clans due to a Windclan cat named Paleheart, who attempted to slaughter the leaders of the clans and take over the area as his own. With all of Windclan taking the blame, they were attacked mercilessly by River, Thunder and Shadow alike. Sunnkit hid behind her mother, along with Smokekit and the others in the nursery when the clans invaded their camp. When a dark figure- to swift for the tiny kitten to see properly- moved into the nursery, she had assumed it to be her father or siblings, and ran out to him, only to end up nearly crushed under a large, claw riddled paw. Sunpetal came to her daughters rescue in a flash, voice loud and claws furious as she tackled the Thunderclan cat away from her daughter. The scuffle was brief but vicious and ended in the death of both cats while the pair of kits looked on in horror. When another strange feline entered- likely hearing the commotion- it was clear what their intentions were, but their plans were quickly halted when a black and white pelt wizzed by, attacking the intruder.. but their Savior wasn't a Windclanner.. it was a Shadowclan cat, named Badgerstripe.

What happened after that was a blur- all she knew was that the war had ended and all the clans would be living together at the Gathering grounds until each clan's camp had been properly restored. In that time she, along with Smokekit tired to find her father and older siblings, but in the chaos of it all they simply couldn't. However, a familiar black and white pelt approached little Sunnkit and her brother, it was Badgerstripe, the Shadowclan warrior that had saved them back in the nursery. He took it upon himself to watch over the pair and make sure they stayed fed and sheltered in all the chaos.
When the time came for the clans to return to their own lands, Badgerstripe went to Flamestar, Windclan leader at the time, to ask for custody over the kittens, seeing as by this time he'd learned both their parents had been killed in battle, and he'd grown rather fond of the two. Not really knowing anyone other than their siblings from Windclan, Sunnkit and her brother didn't put up much of a fuss about, and Smokekit even seemed a bit excited with the idea of seeing Shadowclan.
It was eventually agreed that Badgerstripe could keep the kittens, under the condition that when they came of age to be trained, he would send them back to their rightful home in Windclan. When the pair arrived in the dark forests of Shadowclan, they found that the cats were less hostile than anticipated, though the kittens were avoided, Sun didn't seem to notice, while Smoke pointed out that they were doing so out of guilt- that it was because of them and the other clans they lost their parents so now they were feeling bad about it. Shrugging it off, Sunnkit dragged her brother around camp, learning the ins and outs of life in Shadowclan. It came to and end all too soon when they grew to apprentices, and Badgerstripe reluctantly took the two to meet Flamestar at the border, where they were taken back to Windlcan- but not before the warrior had gotten to teach them a little bit of Shadowclan fighting and hunting.

APPRENTICE

Circle of Friends

Back in Windclan, Sunpaw and her brother were greeting by an onslaught of nuzzles and licks on the head by their older siblings, and while Diamond was more than happy to oblige them, Smokepaw tried ( and failed ) to escape the three cat horde that surrounded them.
It was back to Windclan, that familiar ground with exactly three familiar faces and three new ones that Sunpaw was eager to meet. Her first encounter with an apprentice that wasn't Smokepaw was Lionpaw, a grouchy young tom who, at first, wanted absolutely nothing to do with her. However, being as persistent as she was, she kept trying to befriend him, eventually learning the main cause of his constant bad mood to be his sibling, Cedarpaw. The pair came up with a plan- she would befriend the tom and try to find weaknesses for Lionpaw to exploit. After that the two began to grow closer, Lionpaw softening and Sun toning down a little on her usual hyperness. They could often be found together, but their plan was starting to work a little too well, with Cedarpaw starting to take an interest in the cream colored feline. Next came Wolfpaw, a charming little tom with a friendly personality, a welcome relief from the constant broodiness that seemed to accompany her other friend. The two got along rather well, though perhaps a bit too well, as Wolfpaw seemed to become more interested in her romantically a little too soon for her to handle, causing her to hang around him less and less over time. In turn, she met a dark pelted tom, much smaller than she, who seemed to want nothing other than to be left alone. After a little pestering, she found his name to be Ebonypaw, and when she wasn't with Lionpaw, she found herself curled up beside the dark tom, sharing stories of her 'adventures' and time at Shadowclan with her brother. Through her, Lionpaw and Ebonypaw became friends, and the trio began to hang out more often with one another.

The Darker it is the Harsher the Light

As Leaf-bare came, Lionpaw invited her out hunting, where they caught a bluejay- the tom offering her one of the feathers, which she happily accepted. Unfortunately a snowstorm caught the two apprentices while they were out, and in spite of their attempts to hurry back to camp, they were forced to burrow into the snow to ride out the storm. However, Cedarpaw found them, and very nearly buried them alive. Sunpaw was furious and clawed her way out through the snow, snagging hold of the offending tom's paw before letting go to catch the second paw being swung at her, knocking the tom off balance. It wasn't long before she was on top of Cedarpaw with her claws at his throat. The cream apprentice turned to help her clan-mate out of the snow, and the pair hid the evidence of the rather.. unfortunate dispute. Only Sunpaw and Lionpaw would be returning to camp that day.

WARRIOR

With Love Comes Chaos

It was after their vigil that the newly named Lionflame asked her to be his mate, to which she happily agreed. In a few moons, Sunheart found herself expecting kittens, both parents were thrilled to say the least. Wolfpaw, now known as Wolfmoon, on the other hand, was more upset than anything when he heard the news, even going so far as to lure Lionflame out of camp to attack him, and while she didn't get the full story, the Queen was furious, and relinquished all ties with the white pelted tom, refusing to so much as speak to him. Just a moon later Wolfmoon met his end by the Ebonystom's paws, and though it was called a tragic accident, the she-cat felt as though that may not have been the case. For a time, there was a relative peace, with easy life at camp now that she was heavy with kits. However, when her kits were born, the clan was in shock to find that one was an albino, who dangerously resembled Paleheart, the traitor, and with roots to him on Lionflame's side, the clan was a little on edge to say the least. Even so, this little kitten, named Icekit, was accepted by the clan, but word got out, and the other clans were less than pleased, starting border disputes that grew more and more frequent, more and more violent, until it was an all out war.

Windclan struggled, losing cats and trying desperately to hang on to it's territory, though the war was swiftly brought to an end when a series of unending storms rolled into the territories. Many cats believed it to be a result of angering Starclan, and Sunheart had little doubt about this. During this time of heavy rain, there were floods. It was while out patrolling in this weather that Lionflame became lost, leaving Sun to care for her two kittens alone, though it was not long before they would become apprentices. Her mate remained missing for moons, and when Eaglekit became an apprentice, he fled the clan, for reasons unknown. Sunheart was in turmoil during this time, and as was the land. Eventually the flooding forced the clans to come to a decision, they had to leave. While hesitant to do so since she had no idea if her mate or kit were dead or alive, she did follow Windclan to it's new home, Ebonystorm keeping her company along the way.

A Heart not of Gold, but of Diamond

It was in this new home that the she-cat came to realize that her son had survived just fine, having earned his warrior name in Riverclan, though her daughter seemed to grow more distant. Just as the clan was settling down, a new cat arrived, having stumbled upon their camp she guessed. However, it was only moments later that this cat proved to be her mate, Lionflame, who had not only survived the storm but managed to find them as well. Sunheart was thrilled, though the tom seemed much less so. It was after Lionflame was named deputy that she found herself growing further and further from him- she never got the chance to speak with him anymore, and he had become all work and no play, still though, she tried to get a moment with him whenever she could.

It was upon meeting with her son, Eaglestrike, at the new borders between Wind and River that she discovered there was a few new kits in Riverclan, not all of which were of Riverclan decent. It took some time, but the warrior eventually discovered that at least one of the kits, Tigerkit, was Lionflame's offspring. Sunheart was simultaneously furious and heartbroken when she returned to camp, only to be met by Icefall and Lionflame. The pair told her of their intentions, to leave the clan, find a new place and start anew, but after what she'd learned, she refused, stalking off to the warrior's den as the cats that were one her family- her daughter and her mate- left for good.

For a long time the cream feline did nothing but spend her time in camp, keeping to herself with the exception of hunts and border patrols. Ebonystorm approached her, the two being long time friends at this point. He seemed to know she was in desperate need of company, for someone she knew to let her know that they were still there with her, so that she wouldn't feel alone. The usually grouchy tom kept a shockingly upbeat attitude, at least for him, and was constantly trying to talk to Sunheart, to cheer her up in any way possible, even getting into playful fights with her- something that was terribly out of character for him. Eventually the two had a serious discussion about how she was doing, which ended with Sun in tears and the dark tom offering her what comfort her could. From there she improved, and while it took a few moons, the she-cat was back to her normal, cheerful self. If anything she was even more joyful than when she'd been with Lionflame. That's when she realized she may very well be falling for the cat she called her best friend.

To Be Lost Yet Found

It was when the two were out hunting together before a storm that it unexpectedly swept in- the pair having not anticipated it's arrival so soon. It wasn't enough for any serious flooding, but the rain was heavy and loud, obscuring landmarks and scent trails from view, rending the two completely lost in the storm. She even found herself losing sight of Ebonystorm, multiple times, and if it weren't for his ability to spot her brightly colored pelt, the two would've gotten separated, but as it was, the two stuck together. When the storm finally let up, they were soaked and in completely different territory. Continuing on, not sure which way to go,they eventually stumble across something vaguely familiar.
It was then Ebony and herself figured out where they had ended up. They were home, in a manner of speaking, Concerned about going back to a Windclan that wouldn't recognize her, she and the tom agreed to start a new life in Skyclan.

Fighting Tactics:
Woe is the unwary cat who invokes Sunheart's wrath, for this feline is known for her swift and agile game of "tag", constantly darting in and out of her opponents striking range to disorient and unbalance them. She often does this to disorient and slowly ware down her opponent, as well as to avoid taking too many direct hits to her fragile frame. It's not uncommon for her to strike at the opponent's flank or forepaws to try and unbalance them before darting away.

Waiting for Juniperclaw to make his way up, and visibly sighing in relief when he made it up safely, she followed, only instead of using a tree she climbed up using the rocks. Hopping from small boulder to small boulder which lined the now steep trail, she made once last bound, pulling herself up onto the ledge and shaking her pelt. She felt more confident climbing the rocks than a tree, rocks just seemed more stable than branches to her.

"Ah.. there we go." Mistblossom chuckled with a bright smile. "Don't worry, I'll get us home... and.. as far as that hill goes.. it was never that steep. I suspect the melt waters are at fault." Taking in a deep breath, the pale feline cast her gaze skyward, the clouds and sky were painted with hues of gold, red and several other vibrant colors that blended together in perfection. It was sunset, and looking away from the cliff face, not far off was a clearing with a lake, reflecting the wonderful colors with faint yellow specks blinking here and there above it's surface. Fireflies.

Mistblossom's eyes light up as she looked at Star Lake. The grasses were still a soft, lush green. Frogs could be heard chirping occasionally and a few earlier blooms were scattered about the area in a complimentary way. "Welcome to Star Lake, Juniperclaw." Purred the she-cat happily as she began to make her way towards the large body of water.
