There apparently are pictures of this tree(already producing apples) at the time of the opening of Lakeside Golf and CC in 1927,which dates the planting of this tree around 1900/It has endured ,behind what was ,for a long time the 4th Green and guarding the Bunker quite effectively/
Imagine how many golf balls have struck this fellow.
Probably feels even older than he looks

interesting tree... that it still produces apples and i like how it kinda " splits " in the middle but still goes pretty symmetric on each side
