This was a sample I did a couple of years back, but I was never happy with the original. Last night I had insomnia and ended up working messing around with it until around three or so. I'd post the original, but it's too embarrassing.Related content

A real quality in the draw and a lot's of details.
There are several awesome things in this deviation first of all i really love the contrast between the wolf anger and the "cold" aspect of the woman who staying straight right on her fit without any kind of fear or move.
The background is really detail and give all the deep this deviations need.
But for my own there're just two things you could improve a bit more.
1rst: The grass, it look so details-less, you should try IMO to give it more flow as the wolf just arrive here they should move e.deviantart.net/emoticons/n/nā¦ " width="15" height="15" alt="
2nd: The wolf fur. it look too much blur IMO. in thumbnail few it simply look perfect ! but in full-view we see the strokes, and maybe not enough details.
but indeed it's a real great job with a strong concept and quality !

I take your point(s). I'm always caught between trying for realism and something more impressionistic, such as the way Frazetta handles thinks - I should probably just come down on one side or the other
