I quite like the representations you've made of the Kanto starters here. Their faces seem a bit awkward to me, but I do love their expressions. I especially like that there are shadows of their fully evolved forms, possibly parents looking out to their children as they go into the world? Either way, you've done a very nice job.

But the shadows aren't their fathers, um... the Shadows are them when they evolve, although I were thinking to put "a hard way" as the title of the artwork, because that would be what the pokemon would travel to reach their evolved forms
