Here's a look at a work in progress screenshot of Otto and Victoria on Safari. It will be one of the illustrations in my new book, traveling with your Octopus. For these illustrations I use Photoshop and as you can see a lot of layers. After the coloring is done I will import some tea textures on watercolor paper to help the piece feel a little more organic and a lot less digital.Related content

This is by far the cutest picture I've seen. You made an odd pairing of animals really work well. I love the contentment on those lions. Absolutely perfect.

Just wonderful! I especially love the sense of weight of the lions head on that of the octopus, and also the visual texture and details of the octopus tentacles. And those emotive facial expressions of sheer pleasure...what a delight! Beautifully done so far.Β Β
