This animation has taken longer than any other one I have worked on before! It will be a while longer before I have everything done on it, so I decided to share the progress version with my watchers.ΒRelated content

It looks computer animated with that coloring. But I like how the light plays on his helmet. Red light from behind that doesn't move, and white light from... in front of him? Actually, I'm not sure I understand that highlight. But it looks nice.

Thanks. This was the first time I played with the different effects Toon Boom can do. I tried out several other approaches before settling on this one. I agree, the white highlight doesn't really have a point source at and may need to be changed. It was a holdover from one of the earlier tests.
