Description First let me say that this is not the full animation, not even close. I also cropped the top and bottom. This is also not the first Vader animation I worked on. The other one was roughed out, when I realized I wanted to practice drawing the suit some more. So this one came into existence.  I still need to finish up the tweening and then it gets colored! Though I expect it will take a while.

it's neat how the lines on his helmet move. ...I never really found any animation tutorials that explain how to do that type of thing (which I've noticed in animated clothing before). I guess it just takes learning how to see an object in 3D and in outlines.

Pretty much. Good 2d animation gives a sense that an object exists in space, and has weight.
