that is awesome, both with the sea monster and the boat jumping across the waves.

I'm not certain of all the differences, but one feature was that the layers could be stacked in a way that would allow the other layers below to have a lower opacity. That may be in your version though. I believe the higher versions allow for more shading and blending options, though I still use photoshop quite often.

Fantastic work!!!I had a question though.I'm having terrible problems with flash and I have this program but i have to buy a new tablet to use toon boom animate.I was wondering if it is worth the switch and also can I make really long animations in this program with detailed scenes animated on 1s and 2s at 24 fps without crashes?

I definitely think it is worth the switch. Flash is at it's best for symbol based work, and at it's worst when used for traditional frame by frame animation. You will often have to do several strokes in Flash to get a line you like, not the case in toon Boom. I don't believe you will have a hard time making long animations with it at any frame rate. Mine never seems to run slow, even though I run multiple programs at a time and have done longer animations.

Yeah I'm more of a traditional animator only using symbols for things that don't seem to move or contort to physics or simply don't need it.Though I get flustered when animating a scene of maybe 4 seconds on 1s and 2s and I know its not the symbols but the traditional animation used in conjunction over it.I was also wondering. You said you can make long animations?I have heard of movies and shows being made in toon boom products(though which one is debatable, most likely harmony)and I would like to start on a really big project in the near future possibly over 45 minutes?Do you think toonboom could take all that in one file as I've heard toonboom can be used like TV Paint and do editing, effects, sounding, ect?

I doubt you could make a movie in it. Although I'm not familiar with Harmony. I've used Adobe premiere for my longer work. It's easier to manage the files and add sound.
