I was lucky enough to start life drawing in high school, at the Baltimore School for the Arts. More recently, I took classes from Glen Villpu, who teaches at the Animation Guild, and at various animation studios around Burbank, California. My current job brings in a model one night every other week so we can keep our skills up. I'm a rank amateur compared with some of the guys I work with. I haven't heard of Mike Mattesi. Yeah I watch Glen's videos, Mike Mattesi is an animator also. He classifies his life drawings as drawing with "force". Check him out you two have similar life drawing styles.
