I'm a bit late to the party here, but I just discover these pictures of Kate. I have to say that she is stunning. Absolutely stunning. Hopefully you can do more photo sessions with her in the future. Needless to say, but all of your work here is fantastic. Thank you.

Thank You... I did add about 10% (+/- 1%) of brightness to the eyes, that's it. I Shot it with an Elinchrom BX500Ri monolight with attached 53" Octobox - which provides fantastic bright & soft light and used black foam board on right to create soft shadows on the right side.

...And I had a strip softbox directly above her at low power.

What can I say... great work!

I've tested it with 10% darker and I'll say your edit is a good call. Is the nudge to draw your attention.
Thanks for the lighting description. I'm not that technical, but I'm quite amazed by the effect some people get.
And by how hard it is to get some good lighting, at the same time looking very natural. Good setup for this one.

Oh, and maybe you should remove that white hair line from her left eye, maybe even the white dot
from the center-right of the other one. Just to have a "clear" gaze. I don't mean to over do it

Aptly noted! I do tend to leave an intentional "flaw" to keep a "realism" feel to the pic... BUT, had i been doing this commercially or a paid promo shot, there would have been much for care to clean it up.

Thanks, again, for the input!
