You threw your feet up on the table, leaning back in your swivel chair. You closed your eyes and tried to tune out the awful tapping noise.

Tap tap tap tap.

You scoffed and pulled the (f/c) hood of your jacket over your head. But that only seemed to intensify the sounds. Now you could hear chewing noises. The ones where you get scolded at, for eating like a cow. The sucking of a finger.

"AUUUGH!!!" you growled.

L looked over at you with his expressionless onyx eyes.

"What is the matter, ___. Is there a reason you sound like a dying cat?" L asked you.

You pulled your feet down off the desk and looked at L. Your hood obscured your features, making you look deadly serious.

" A) i don't sound like a dying cat. B) the matter is you and all your annoying noises. And C) you creep me out." you frowned at the detective.

Ever since you joined the Kira case, you were trying to break the great L, and get him to show some sort of emotion. But it didn't work this time. L just looked at you and turned back to his computer screen, his unblinking eyes glazing over. You lay back in your chair and looked over at your screen.

Kira has been killing quite a bit lately, and you had only an idea of who Kira actually was. Besides the fact that L thought another member, who was in the Kira case, was Light Yagami. Every time someone died, he would smirk.

Who the hell smirks when someone dies?! Apparently that guy. He creeped you out, and his "girlfriend". Misa Amane. You knew that they were not actually a couple, that they were pretending. Probably to hide that they are not innocent.

Considering you were the only girl investigator on the Kira case, you had to be "friends" with Misa. You shuddered at what she had done to you the other day.

~ Flashback ~

"Aww, you look so cute ___!" Misa squealed at you.

You looked down at what you were wearing. It was a mini plaid skirt with triangle pleats. A low cut black tanktop, and some combat boots.

"Misa, where did you hide my clothes?!" you had growled at her.

Misa only smiled and grabbed your hand. "Don't worry ___. I'm sure Ryouzaki will notice you!"

"W-what?!" your voice cracked. "I'm not going out there with a bunch of guys in this!"

"Oh nonsense. You look fine. I will give you back your jeans and shirt if you go out." Misa smirked, knowing she had won.

She grabbed your hand and pulled you out of her room, then down the glass staircase. She then let go of your hand and walked over to L and grabbed his shoulders, whispered into his ear. From where you were standing, you could see a faint pink on the detectives face. L turned around to see you, and said," You look cute, ___." You took the few seconds you had to stomp up the glass staircase.

You tripped up the stairs every once in a while. Every time you tripped, you were hunched over, using our hands to help pull yourself up.

You ran down the hallway and into your room, slamming the door behind you. You calmly walked to your dresser and opened the middle drawer. You pulled out a pair of baby blue skinny jeans and (f/c) T-shirt. You then slipped on your (f/c) jacket and flopped on your bed.

~ End of flashback ~

At this point in time, L finished his cake and tore his eyes from the computer screen just for a moment. Long enough to grab a small box of pockey. An idea sprung into your mind, and you smirked.

You waited for just the right moment. When one stick of the pockey in L's mouth was short enough, you quickly grabbed it out from his mouth and put it in yours. L's head whipped around to you, a dark aura growing off him.

L grabbed your shoulder an gently spun you around in your swivel chair. You gave him a look as if to say, 'what're you going to do about it?'

He pinned you against the chair so forcefully that you couldn't move. He closed his eyes and slammed his lips against yours and started nibbling at the pockey between your lips. Your eyes grew wide as L pushed harder against you. You tried to move back from him, but resulted in tipping the chair backwards.

His eyes flew open as you both started to fall to the floor. You took an intake of breath as L landed on top of you, his lips still against yours.

" YEAH! YOU GO ___! I KNEW YOU WOULD GET HIM TO KISS YOU!!!" Misa yelled from the doorway.

You and L quickly pulled away from each other, your faces turning red. Behind Misa was everyone on the task force. But the thing that really stood out was Light, holding a camera.

You put your hands on L's chest and forcefully pushed him off of you. You scrambled to your feet, leaving L on the floor, and ran to Light, reaching for the camera in his hand. He lifted it just above your reach, chuckling.

"Give it back you pervert! Why the hell were you watching us?!" you yelled at Light. "Well, Misa told us something was going to happen today, I just had to see. Who would have thought that Ryouzaki would have gotten a girlfriend?"

"IM NOT HIS GIRLFRIEND!!!!" you screamed at Light, cheeks turning pink.

"It's alright, ___, we won't tell." Matsuda smiled at you.

You walked over to an empty wall and banged your head against it. "We are not dating!"

This time, L spoke up before anybody could say anything else. " Precisely. It was not a kiss if you were referring to that. I was simply getting something that ___ stole from me back. "

Misa stuck her lip out, as if saying, ' that's is?' She looked at L, "what did she take?"

"She stole my pockey." L said without much enthusiasm.

Misa looked at him, dumbfounded. "So you had to kiss her for that?"

"As I had announced earlier. It was not a kiss. But it was in her mouth, and I could not simply just put my fingers in her mouth and take my pockey back"

Your face turned a full shade of crimson red and you looked at the floor. Misa ran over to you and pulled you into a ferocious bear hug. She started squealing and started to rub her face against yours.

"M-Misa! Calm down! You are acting like this is my first kiss or something!!" you screamed.

Misa stopped and grabbed your shoulders, acting serious all of a sudden. "Was it your first kiss?"

You sighed," No." Misa's eyes grew wide, " SO YOU'VE KISSED BEFORE?!"

You looked at her like she was an idiot." No, cause what L and I did wasn't a kiss!"

Misa gave a huge smile. "So it was your first kiss! Congratulations!!!! I know a way we can celebrate you getting a boyfriend, lets go shopping!!!"

Misa grabbed your hand and started for the door, passing L. Before he could say anything, you grabbed the sleeve of his baggy long sleeve white shirt and dragged him with you.

" No way am I doing this alone!" you smirked at L.

From anyone's point of view, it looked like a train. Misa being the front, and you and L being the carts, being dragged alone without a say.

L held a terrified look in his eyes, but it did not reach his face. Your (e/c) eyes met his onyx ones. You knew you were probably going to regret this later, but you still dragged him along.

L tried to pull away from you as Misa led you into the elevator. He attempted to run out, but you pinned him against the wall, preventing his escape.

"Look," you whispered harshly to him. "I know you don't like this as much as I do, but you need to see how much Misa drives me crazy."

L looked at you, his face was still expressionless, but you could tell he was annoyed.

Ding.

The elevator opened and you once again grabbed a fistful of L's shirt as Misa dragged you outside the building.

Your (h/c) hair started to blow in the harsh wind, you let go of L's sleeve to clam it down, then instantly grabbed it again when he attempted to make a run for the building.

You sighed. " This is going to be a long day...." you and L both said in unison. Misa turned around, raising an eye brow.

"What was that?" she asked innocently. You forced a smile. "Nothing. We just said said that we are going to have a great time shopping. Isn't that right L?"

L gave a forced nod. Little did you know, when you got back to the building, you were in so much trouble with L ..............
