I just love toons, I do work on cartoons as a professional, but, sorry to say not for spongebob.

Man, i'm digging the clean linework! I'm a stickler when it comes to clean linework. Looks like it was made with illustrator vector lines!

It was done in photoshop using a tablet and a surgeons steady hand for the clean up. The sketch was hand drawn of course, hahaha
