there are some great shots in this series, but i'd probably take this one as my favourite, great framing and good use of an ND filter... nice work

I recon you could tweak the curves a little here to bring out (brighten) the moving leaves(?) in the water without darkening the overall picture too much.
Very eye catching never-the-less

wasn't this a great time of year for photography I was out on March 21 capturing the mood of the mist by Minnihaha Leaning Forth . This isn't such a bad state for the photography, no?

Yeah it sure was a good time of year. Thats a sweet shot man!
Yeah Minnesota isnt too bad. Luckily, the Twin Cities area has quite a few nice parks and good scenery. I'm looking forward to some autumn fog/mist this next month.

Right on! Yeah, I'm hopefully going to get an early shot at the colors by hitting Northern Wisconsin at the end of the month. At least according to online estimates, the end of the month should be near peak.

I'm gonna have to get out this weekend and get some shots. I was also thinking of hitting wisconsin. I wonder how much water is going down Willow Falls this time of year, might have to head over there.

I was up at Amnicon and Manitou Falls this past weekend. Plus my co-worker buddy and I even made it over to Gooseberry Falls. Did you make it out? We had some great flowage on these ones.

Interesting, I use fog as a gateway (literally) in my stories!
I especially like when you take a photo in the fog with the flash on, and all those little glowing lights appear all around you.
Lovely picture.

I like how the tree seems to reach for the water but the water doesn't look too natural

Deliciously ominous and fantastic. It reminds me of the version of Sleepy Hollow with Johnny Depp.

That is one of the most stunning compositions I have ever seen. My friend, you have out done yourself this time!
The angle, tones, saturation, and shutter is just perfect. You should submit this to some contest and earn back what you did.

I love the tree. It's like a bridge between clarity and fog.
