have you ever tried a cokin IR filter? I just bought one, having broken my hoya one, and so far, not so impressed

Never tried a cokin filter at all, I've heard too many bad things about them to even consider buying one lol.

in actual fact, it's not as bad as I thought - the metering just seems to work differently from my old camera (which is where I used the old Hoya filter). None of them are quite postable yet though

Very nice IR photo. Swapping red and blue channels make IR photos look nicer imo because the sky is blue then.
