I wake up on a hilltop far out on the moor. How did I get here? I’m still in my nightgown, barefoot, and it’s freezing. My feet are numb and wet with dew. I don’t understand. I was just asleep. Now I’m standing out in the middle of nowhere? I wasn’t sleeping on the hill when I woke up, I was standing. Was I sleepwalking? I’ve never done that before. There are cuts on my legs and feet. I scan the horizons in all directions until I spot a town. Did I walk all this way? I have no choice but to head back again, but it’s going to be a hike. I don’t know if I’ll be able to make it all the way there without catching hypothermia or something.-- Julia's Journal
