Description
I finally have finished it, and I've drawn her before ("feathers") and here she is again. One of my favorite models here on DA. is the model and here's the reference: [link] Again I am no good at making it look like the reference. I guess that keeps it interesting?Related content

Of course you have to improve from the reference Pic !
You know perfectly how to manage it
This is absolutely beautiful !
The way you use the outline remembers me of Egon Schiele !
Bravo
Mireille.

ya don't need it to look like the reference, it is more YOU when you look at it.

Beautiful, emotive work! The subtle tones are just fantastic (especially on her hands), and her facial expression and body language are wonderfully defined and intriguing...

beautiful work
I guess it's not about copying a photo but creating your own interpretation of it. don't worry about similarity, it looks fantastic!

Mom's doing alright. She's staying with my sister now for a bit until next week when she'll come live with Jay and I for a bit till her husband gets back.
How have you been? ^_^

I have no idea what his problem is....when he was in trouble last summer my sister would drag my elderly mom over to his house all of the time, no matter how she felt, because he 'needed family around him'. Now he's found god (who I guess he thinks got him out of trouble - never mind the really good lawyer I found for him) and walks around all high and mighty and does virtually nothing to help the woman who gave him life. He's trash to me. Its really not new. My Dad used to tell me, "I see you more than my other son and he lived in the same city with me." I drive 400 miles round trip twice a month to see my mom. My sister shouldn't have to bear this by herself.
You expressed my feelings pretty well for me. I'm gonna go home, relax, and grab some brews. Need to chill out. I hope you have a great weekend, H. Despite the distance between us, you are a really great friend.

Finding God is all well and good, but maybe he should take something from that new found discovery.
So far this weekend has been a blur. So many people coming and going and I have been feeling crappy. My stomach is wanting to kill me. hahaha.
How was your weekend?

My weekend was productive but boring. I needed a do-nothing weekend and I got it. I have a feeling of instability lately. I think I've had it off and on for the last 4 years. Sometimes it hits me harder than others. But I usually muddle thru...Haven't been able to complete any drawings. I get bored mid-way and then start something new. I don't know why.
